Pliable object wrapping device for activating and exercising muscles and method of activating and exercising
A muscle activating and exercising device and a method of activating and exercising muscles of the human body. The device includes an outer material and at least one flexible inner material. The device is an elongated device that is pliable enough to be wrapped around an object. The device also has an outer surface that creates a frictional fit between the device and the wrapped object. The wrapped object could be, for example, a wrist or ankle on a human limb or a location on a portion of sports equipment (e.g., a lacrosse stick, baseball bat, hockey stick, golf club or tennis racket). The method includes a method of activating muscles using the device. Through such a method, a user can, for example. build muscle strength and/or reduce muscle tremors.
LEG BRACE TRAINING APPARATUS TO ENHANCE PROPER SWING MECHANICS IN SPORTS
An athletic leg brace training apparatus coupled to a user's rear leg to enhance swing mechanics is provided. The leg brace training apparatus includes a brace member having an upper portion connected to a lower portion, the upper portion having a first longitudinal axis, the lower portion having a second longitudinal axis, a first strap with opposing ends coupled to the upper portion of the brace member and designed to conform around the user's rear leg, and a second strap with opposing ends coupled to the lower portion of the brace member and designed to conform around the user's rear leg. The first longitudinal axis of the upper portion of the brace member is oriented within an approximate range of 115 to 145 degrees relative to the second longitudinal axis of the lower portion of the brace member.
TRAINING EQUIPMENT FOR IMPROVING BATTING SWING
A training equipment device is provided for developing and improving a batter's swing. The device comprises a base unit that supports a pair of resistance members that a batter strikes through with a swing of the bat. The resistance members are spaced apart a distance such that a first resistance member successively contacts a second resistance member as the batter follows through on the swing. The sounds produced from the resistance members being struck provide an auditory indication on the quality of the batter's swing. The training equipment device is capable of ready transport and can easily be moved and stored.
Baseball batting tee
A batting tee has a post including a ball holder on a top end of a post, and a tube cap on a bottom end of the post. A receptacle is positioned in a recess in a base frame having a through hole. The tee is set up for use by passing the post through the through hole from the bottom of the base and securing the tube cap to the base. The batting tee may be set up for use, and disassembled for transport or storage, quickly and easily.
TRAINING BAT
A bat configured to improve batting skills during practice and training. The bat includes a body extending between first and second ends of the bat and including opposed first and second ball-contacting surfaces and first and second cutout portions of the bat body formed along a length thereof and forming a wedge therebetween. The wedge extends between the first and second ball-contacting surfaces. The cutout portions include respective flat machined surfaces forming opposing sides of the wedge. The bat body defines a longitudinal axis, and the wedge is formed such that the flat machined surfaces each form an acute angle with an imaginary reference line that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
Swing training assembly for swing sports including golf, baseball, tennis or hockey
A swing training assembly includes a shuttle, a shuttle travel track, a tensioner, a shuttle displacement line and a shuttle pulley. The shuttle resides in the shuttle travel track and the shuttle pulley and shuttle displacement line are adapted to linearly displace the shuttle to different shuttle positions within the shuttle travel track in response to displacement forces applied to the shuttle pulley by a user pulling on the shuttle displacement line. The tensioner provides an opposing counter-force to control the rate of shuttle displacement. The swing training assembly may also include body positioning limits to maintain proper body alignment while the user pulls on the shuttle displacement line.
Internet sports computer cellular device
A system that wirelessly integrates actual sports equipment with a computer and the internet to allow players remotely located from one another to play a competitive simulated sports game. An individual player may opt to play solo or practice to improve basic techniques. The system includes motion sensors connected to the player and a motion sensing device, all containing circuits and contact or motion sensors coupled with signal processing and radio frequency transmitter circuitry, thereby wirelessly communicate game performance information to a remote receiver-computer. The computer displays player information and visually simulates and controls a game between two players via the internet, having similar equipment and remotely located from each other. Standard sports equipment may be retrofitted with the sensors and associated circuitry to convert such equipment into “smart equipment” for use with the system. The system employs specially developed computer software to process player performance data, control game play, communicate game information between players, generate and control visual simulations and display player performance information.
MULTI-SPORTS SIMULATION APPARATUS
A multi-sports simulation apparatus includes a housing which includes camera accommodation spaces for attaching side camera units at both ends thereof in a longitudinal direction and a central portion in which an opening is formed so that a central camera unit fixed to a frame passes through the opening.
PITCHING MACHINE PITCH TYPE AND SPEED DATA PROVIDING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A pitching machine pitch type and speed data providing method is carried out by a service providing apparatus connected to a user terminal through a network, and the method includes the steps of acquiring player data having pitch types and command percentages by pitcher in real game situations, converting the player data into pitch type and speed data of a given pitching machine, receiving a request message for the player data, and providing the pitch type and speed data corresponding to the player data for the user terminal in response to the request message for the player data.
Swing training device
A swing training apparatus includes an upper line from an upper assembly to a housing of a lower assembly. A first line extendable from the housing may be connected to a sporting implement. A second line extendable from the housing may be connected to the upper line. A first spool, second spool, lever, and pawl are located within the housing. The rotation of the first spool permits the extension of the first line. The pawl is biased to prevent the rotation of the first spool. Tension in the second line cause the rotation of the second spool, causing the lever to engage a portion on the pawl to disengage the pawl and permit extension of the first line. The first and second spools, lever, and pawl are configured to permit the extension of the first line at the proper “release” point during the swing of a sporting implement.
