Swing practice apparatus
A swing practice apparatus has an upper horizontal bar, a lower horizontal bar that is positioned directly under the upper horizontal bar and runs parallel with the upper horizontal bar, an upper slide ring capable of sliding along the upper horizontal bar, a lower slide ring capable of sliding along the lower horizontal bar, and a spring that exserts force to the ball toward a catcher side. A ball is supported from the upper and the lower slide rings via support springs, and positioned between the upper horizontal bar and the lower horizontal bar. A stopper is mounted at a pitcher side of the upper horizontal bar to stop the upper slide ring, and a release mechanism releases the stopper to release the upper slide ring from the stopper and the upper slide ring and the ball move toward the catcher side due to the spring.
BALL MOUNTING SYSTEM, LED CABLE AND TIP PROTECTOR FOR AN IMPROVED SWING TRAINING DEVICE
A new and improved training swing training device includes: (a) a deflector tube at a forward most end of its LED cable system; (b) an improved cable system sheathed in a transparent, more damage-resistant tubing; and (c) a new ball mounting system that employs an O-ring configuration for slidably engaging along the aforementioned cable system tubing with each successful contact swing with its tethered baseball (or softball).
SPORTS SWING TRAINING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATION
A sports swing training system and method of operation trains the proper swing of a shaft to hit a sports target, such as a ball or puck so as to drive the sports target at a proper direction and velocity. The assembly provides a base. A height adjustable rod extends perpendicularly from base. A spring positions between the base and the bottom end of the rod to enable side-to-side swaying by the rod. A target holder attaches to top end of rod to retain a first sports target. A hub and a washer disposed at the bottom end of rod are rotatable about the rod. A rotating tethering mechanism extends from the hub, so as to enable tethering the interchangeable sports targets to a cable. The cable attaches to the tethering mechanism from a proximal end and attaches to a second sports target from an opposite end.
Training apparatus for ball-playing sports
A training apparatus for ball-playing sports comprising a tether having a first end affixed to a connector module and a second end affixed to a ball securing device. The ball securing device is configured to secure a ball therein. A belt may be configured to have the connector module engaged therewith where the belt is to be worn around a waist of a user. The connector module operable to traverse a length of the belt in response to a throwing force applied to the ball.
Hitter training device
A hitter training device is described that is easily transportable, is not bulky, and does not require complex assembly and disassembly. The hitter training device also readily facilitates hitter training for right-handed hitters, for left-handed hitters, or for switch hitters. The device includes a support, a cord, a ball, and a clamp. The support has a first end, a second end, and a mid-section, and the first and second ends are axially offset from the mid-section. The cord is coupled to the support between opposing portions of the support that are axially offset from the mid-section, and has a length such that, when it is coupled to the support, the cord is not taut. The ball is mounted on the cord. The clamp is coupled to the support and is configured to temporarily mount the support, in a releasable manner, to a structure.
Tennis training aids
A tennis teaching aid comprises a stand and a ball (10) and a guide (12) mounted on the stand for rotation about an axis. The guide (12) extends around the ball (10) and defines a planar guide plane that is parallel to but spaced from a required path of a tennis racquet to hit the ball (10) with topspin. The majority of the ball (10) projects above the guide plane for contact with a tennis racquet so that a correct contact with the ball (10) is achieved when the racquet moves parallel to, but not in contact with, the guide (12) and the ball (10) is spinning about its rotational axis.
Batting Tee
A batting tee includes a base, a support attached to the base, and a target mount rotatably attached to the support, the mount having a housing, a number of bearings disposed within the housing and spaced from one another, and a pair of wires engaged at one end with the housing and to a target at the opposite end, wherein the support is inserted through the housing and the number of bearings to allow the target mount to rotate with regard to the support.
Training volleyball system
A volleyball training system incorporates a training volleyball with ball attachment panels with ball hook-and-loop fastener exposed for detachable attachment of a tether panel by the panel hook-and-loop fastener. The tether panels have an attachment side with the panel hook-and-loop fastener and an exposed side having a tether coupler, such as a tether coupler loop configured to detachably attach with a tether. A single tether may be attached to one of the tether panels and may be attached to a belt, or two tethers, such as suspension tethers may be coupled to two separate tether couples, preferably on opposing sides of the training volleyball to enable the training volleyball to be suspended from supports. The detachable tether couplers enable a person to use the training volleyball for normal play with the tether panels removed. A variety of volleyball hitting types may be practiced with the volleyball training system.
SHOCK-ABSORBING BALL-HITTING TRAINER
A multi-functional, shock-absorbing ball-hitting trainer is used to develop hitting and/or striking skills and to establish muscle-memory for a user. The ball-hitting trainer has a first stanchion, a second stanchion, a rope line extending between the first stanchion and the second stanchion to form an inclined line, and the rope line spanning a distance from a first connection to the first stanchion to a second connection to the second stanchion forming an inclined line, and a ball tether assembly having a ball, a suspension ring encircling the inclined line, and a tether secured between the ball and the suspension ring so that the ball tether assembly may slidably travel along the inclined line. The ball-hitting trainer may also have in-line shock-absorbing impact-recoil feature, a height-adjustable in-line stop feature, and an in-line tensioner for tightening and loosening the rope line.
