PUNCHING BAG RETENTION APPARATUS
In one aspect the invention provides a punching bag retention apparatus which includes a bag engagement structure, and a user engagement structure. This retention apparatus also includes a tether defining a bag end and a user end, the bag end of the tether being arranged to connect to the bag engagement structure, and the user end of the tether being arranged to connect to the user engagement structure.

A personal items network, comprising a plurality of items, each item having a wireless communications port for coupling in network with every other item, each item having a processor for determining if any other item in the network is no longer linked to the item, each item having an indicator for informing a user that an item has left the network, wherein a user may locate lost items. SEMI-SUBMERSED FLOATING STRIKING EXERCISE DEVICE
A semi-submersed floating striking exercise device with a striking portion to be filled with water, a floatation portion at least partially above the striking portion, the floatation portion to be filled with air and an above-the-water portion to be filled with air, the above-the-water portion positioned above the floatation portion. The striking exercise device also includes at least one of a handle and/or an attachment device, at least one air inlet for inflating the floatation portion and the above-the-water portion, and a water inlet for filling the striking portion with water. The striking exercise device optionally includes a tether with a first end and a second end, and a tether harness to be worn on a user, wherein the first end of the tether is attachable to the semi-submersed floating striking exercise device and the second end of the tether is attachable to the tether harness.

A training apparatus for use in tackle training, comprises an elongate contact pad having a front surface; and at least two laterally extending elongate members disposed in general longitudinal alignment with the elongate contact pad, wherein the laterally extending elongate members are disposed to the rear of the elongate contact pad, which provides an effective training apparatus for improvements in collisions, tackles and especially the grapple tackle in rugby, thereby improving point of contact, height of approach and arm grip strength.

The head-like striking area, the resilient neck-like striking area and the central striking area are covered with padding material to prevent injuring the user/athlete when kicking and/or punching.
