PUTT RULER
A putt ruler is a device that separates the skills of straight-line putting from reading the green. The putt ruler may be affixed to the golf green and may be rotated to align with the identified target line. Through placement of two golf balls atop the putt ruler, a golfer may produce a putt that follows a straight line, when the stroke used may not have produced a straight-line putt on a single golf ball. The golfer may then evaluate the chosen target line in relation to the resultant putt and evaluate the speed of the putt as the ball travels along the playing surface.
Golf club head
A golf club head is provided having a club body having a front portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, and a heel portion. The club head also having a central portion connected with the front portion. A frame is connected with the central portion configured to provide a lightweight crown portion being located above an offset plane.
Golf Putting Training Aid
A golf putting training aid teaches a golfer to push the golf ball on the green during putting. The aid comprises a collar is carried by a golf club shaft. A bore extends vertically through the collar to receive a golf ball therein. The bore has a bottom opening facing downwardly. A flap is carried by the collar and extends into the bore and is displaceable to selectively retain and release the golf ball. An automatic ground actuated trigger is coupled to the flap and extending downwardly and rearward to contact the ground during fore swing of the golf club shaft to gravity release the golf ball onto the green and allow the golfer to push the golf ball with the golf club.
Golf Putter Alignment System
A golf putter alignment system for viewing an orientation of a putter face relative to a putting line. A mirrored viewing surface is retained at a viewing angle by a selective, adjustable mounting system with an engaging portion, a pivot joint for angular adjustment, and a sliding joint for lateral position adjustment. The pivot joint can be a sleeve joint with an outer sleeve pivotable about a longitudinal axis relative to a core member. The sliding joint can be formed with the viewing surface slidable in relation to an elongate member, such as by being retained by a housing that is slidable in relation to the elongate member. A scope surface with an alignment scope can be retained in spaced relation to the viewing surface. In embodiments, the viewing surface can be disposed within the putter head, and a block of transparent material can have a face forming the putter face.
Transmitting sensor data created in a game environment to a set of processors outside the game environment based on predefined event determinations
The invention relates to a system that connects a game implement to a computer. Two or more persons are allowed to be interconnected and play interactively through the system.
Golf club training device and system
A golf club training device including: a body having a first end configured to be gripped by a user and a second end longitudinally extended from the first end; and a swing speed sensor disposed at the second end for producing an output signal for determining a portion of a golf swing having a greatest swing speed. A golf club training system is also provided to include: a plurality of the golf club training devices wherein at least two of each of the plurality of golf club training devices having one or more of a different weight and length.
DIGITAL PUTTING DIAGNOSIS DEVICE
Provided is a digital putting diagnosis device for diagnosing putting, which is provided in a putter head of a golf putter, including: a 9-axis sensor unit for detecting position and movement of the putter head, the 9-axis sensor unit detecting rotation of the putter head in a roll direction, a pitch direction, and a yaw direction; a control unit for controlling the posture of the putter head at the time of addressing the putting and the swing path of the putter head during putting to be displayed in real time by using the detected signal of the 9-axis sensor unit according to the movement of the putter head; and a display unit for displaying the posture of the putter head and the swing path of the putter head under the control of the control unit.
Method and apparatus for personalized putting of a golf ball
A method and apparatus is provided that determines and simulates the proper putting stroke using at least aiming direction and speed for successfully making a particular putt based on particular putting green characteristics and the location of the golf hole on the putting green, and which is interactive with the user thereby providing an enhanced playing experience and improved putting results.
Putter with alignment aid
A putter head comprising a novel alignment structure is disclosed herein. In particular, the putter comprises an alignment sphere attached to an upper surface of a lower flange and an alignment ring suspended over the lower flange and vertically aligned with the alignment sphere. When a golfer has oriented the putter properly in front of a golf ball at address, the alignment sphere will appear to the golfer to be encircled by the alignment ring.
Golf Clubs and Golf Club Heads
Golf clubs according to at least some example aspects of this disclosure may include a golf club head and a shaft configured to engage with the golf club head which includes a grip engaged with the shaft. Further, the golf club may include a monitoring device, which includes a sensor and a transmitter. Additionally, the monitoring device may be configured to determine data related to the characteristics of a golf swing. Further, the monitoring device may be configured to transmit the data related to the characteristics of a golf swing to a remote computer.
