POLY (ARYL ETHERKETONE) BASED VARNISH FOR WIRE COATING AND METHOD COATING A WIRE FROM A SOLUTION
A method of manufacturing a coated metallic wire having a polymeric coating, the method includes: dissolving at least one polymer including a poly(aryl etherketone) in at least one phenolic solvent to form a solution; contacting the surface of a metallic wire with the solution to form a coated wire having at least one layer of coating; and drying the coated wire to evaporate residual solvent.

ELECTRIC WIRE, CABLE HARNESS AND FLYING OBJECT
There is provided an electric wire having a conductor total cross-sectional area of 2 mm.sup.2 or less and high reliability. The electric wire includes: a twisted wire conductor (2) including a plurality of strand conductors (21 to 27) twisted together with each other and having a total cross-sectional area of the plurality of strand conductors of 2 mm.sup.2 or less; and a covering member (3) made from a resin material having a flexural modulus of 0.6 GPa or more and covering the twisted wire conductor so that an inner wall thereof is in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the twisted wire conductor, wherein the twisted wire conductor (2) has, on an outer peripheral surface thereof, recesses having a maximum depth of 5% or less of a maximum diameter of the twisted wire conductor in a cross section perpendicular to a length direction of the twisted wire conductor and containing boundaries of the plurality of strand conductors.
INSULATED WIRE, COIL, AND ELECTRICAL OR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
An insulated wire, containing a conductor and an insulating film (A) provided in contact with the conductor, in which the insulating film (A) contains polyaryletherketone, the polyaryletherketone has an exothermic peak at the range of 290 to 330 C. in a differential scanning calorimetry when the polyaryletherketone is cooled at a temperature falling rate of 10 C./min from a temperature equal to or higher than the melting temperature of the polyaryletherketone, and the half width of the exothermic peak is 6 C. or more.
INSULATED WIRE, COIL, AND ELECTRIC/ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENTS
An insulated wire containing a thermoplastic resin layer (A) as a covering layer directly or indirectly on a rectangular conductor, in which the insulated wire has at least one protruding part which is continuous in a longitudinal direction of said insulated wire, on a surface of a portion of the thermoplastic resin layer (A), which portion corresponds to at least one side of a cross-section of the insulated wire, said protruding part and a flat part of the surface having the protruding part forms a curved portion with a radius of curvature of 0.01 to 0.75 mm in the cross-section of the insulated wire, and a lateral face of the protruding part has a slope of less than 90 to the flat part of the surface having the protruding part in the cross-section of the insulated wire, a coil produced by processing the insulated wire by winding, and an electric/electronic equipment comprising the coil.
INSULATED WIRE
An insulated wire includes: a copper alloy conductor; and at least one resin layer directly or indirectly coated on an outer peripheral face of the copper alloy conductor, in which the copper alloy conductor has a composition where a total content of metal components selected from Al, Be, Cd, Mg, Pb, Ni, P, Sn, and Cr is from 0.1 to 2.0 ppm and content of copper is 99.96 mass % or higher, and has a specific texture where an average orientation density in an area where 2=0 degrees, 1=0 degrees, and =from 0 degrees to 90 degrees is from 3.0 to less than 35.0, and a maximum orientation density in an area where 2=35 degrees, 1=from 45 degrees to 55 degrees, and =from 65 degrees to 80 degrees is from 1.0 to less than 30.0.
INSULATED WIRE
An insulated wire includes: a copper alloy conductor; and at least one resin layer directly or indirectly coated on an outer peripheral face of the copper alloy conductor, in which the copper alloy conductor has a composition where a total content of metal components selected from Al, Be, Cd, Mg, Pb, Ni, P, Sn, and Cr is from 0.1 to 2.0 ppm and content of copper is 99.96 mass % or higher, and has a specific texture where an average orientation density in an area where 2=0 degrees, 1=0 degrees, and =from 0 degrees to 90 degrees is from 3.0 to less than 35.0, and a maximum orientation density in an area where 2=35 degrees, 1=from 45 degrees to 55 degrees, and =from 65 degrees to 80 degrees is from 1.0 to less than 30.0.
Insulated wire, coil, and electrical or electronic equipment
An insulated wire, having: a single conductor or multiple conductors; an insulating layer on the outer periphery of the single conductor or each of the multiple conductors; and an adhesion layer on the outer periphery of the insulating layer, wherein the thickness of the adhesion layer is 2 to 200 m, wherein a resin constituting the adhesion layer does not have a melting point, wherein the resin constituting the adhesion layer has a tensile modulus of 0.610.sup.7 to 1010.sup.7 Pa at 250 C., and wherein a substance having 2 or more amino groups exists on the surface of the adhesion layer; a coil containing the insulated wire; and an electrical or electronic equipment using the coil.
COMPOSITIONS FOR AN INSULATION TAPE
The invention generally relates to a composition that may be used for producing an insulation tape. In one embodiment, the composition being used to fix a non-conductive material to a reinforcing layer.
