Formula (1) where a is a loop stiffness value in g/cm of the insulating film, b is a thickness in μm of the insulating film, and k is 0.000105 or more.
Cable with aerogel dielectric
The present invention is a cable made from a braided polyethylene terephthalate cable sleeve. Inside the cable sleeve is a sequence of four shielding layers; a braided copper wire layer, a braided silver-plated copper wire layer, and two braided carbon fiber layers. Within the fourth shielding layer is a polytetrafluoroethylene inner sleeve containing a particulate aerogel dielectric, with an approximate particle diameter from 2 micrometers to 1.2 millimeters, and a conductive metal core with a mirror polish.
METHOD OF PRODUCING LONG BODY
There is provided a method of producing a long body covered with a covering layer, in which the long body includes at least plural electric wires and/or tubes, the covering layer includes at least a specific intermediate layer and a specific outermost layer, the method including at least: covering the long body with the covering layer; and fixing positions of the plural electric wires and/or tubes.
RESIN COATED SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE, SUPERCONDUCTING COIL, AND SHIELD COIL
A resin coated superconducting wire includes a matrix resin including a synthetic resin material, and a superconducting wire in the matrix resin. In a transverse cross section of the resin coated superconducting wire, a cross section area of the matrix resin is equal to or larger than the cross section area of the superconducting wire.

COAXIAL CABLE, COAXIAL CABLE PRODUCING METHOD, AND CABLE ASSEMBLY
A coaxial cable includes a conductor, an electrically insulating member provided over a periphery of the conductor, a shielding layer composed of served shields formed by helically wrapping a plurality of metal wires around the electrically insulating member, and a sheath provided around the shielding layer. The electrically insulating member includes indentations on portions of its surface to be brought into contact with and mated to the metal wires respectively. The shielding layer includes portions in respective circumferential directions of the plurality of metal wires being brought into contact with the electrically insulating member are mated to the indentations, respectively, on the electrically insulating member, and adjacent ones of the metal wires in a circumferential direction of the shielding layer are in surface contact with each other.
Linear low-density polyethylene polymers suitable for use on cables
Linear low-density polyethylene polymers used to form covering layers for cables are disclosed. Such polymers exhibit certain molecular weight distributions suitable to form the covering layers for the cable. The polymer can be crosslinked to exhibit suitable properties including retained elongation at break values and hot set values.
Vehicular multi-camera surround view system using image data transmission and power supply via coaxial cables
A vehicular multi-camera surround view system includes a plurality of cameras disposed at a vehicle and having respective exterior fields of view, each of the cameras capturing respective image data. The cameras are connected to an ECU via respective ones of a plurality of single core coaxial cables. The ECU is disposed at the vehicle and includes (i) a data processor and (ii) a DC power supply. Each of the cameras is in full duplex bidirectional communication with the ECU over the respective single core coaxial cable. Each single core coaxial cable commonly carries (i) image data from the respective camera to the ECU for processing and (ii) power from the DC power supply of the ECU to the respective camera. The ECU combines image data conveyed by the cameras to form composite video images and outputs the composite video images to a display device having a video display screen.
