Electric cable
An electric cable for supplying power to aircrafts, rail vehicles, motor vehicles, ships or other devices is a single or multi-conductor cable and includes one or more current conductors with at least one insulation. A single or multi-layer outer casing is distributed over the periphery and is associated with the outwardly protruding reinforcing elements. The reinforcing elements are in the form of cooling ribs protruding preferably over the entire periphery of the cable and enable the surface of the cable to be increased and as a result, improve heat dissipation. The projecting reinforcing elements considerably reduce the risk of burning when the current conductors heat up and also protect the cable against abrasion. The invention also relates to a plug for the electric cable.
Mobile dedicated cable for medical computed tomography (CT) bed
A mobile dedicated cable for a medical Computed Tomography (CT) bed, having an inner sheath layer, a first Teflon® belt, a signal cable layer, a second Teflon® belt, a braided layer and an outer sheath layer, which are coaxially arranged from inside to outside in sequence. The inner sheath layer has a PVC filling strip wrapped by the first Teflon® belt, and a plurality of bulletproof filaments arranged in the center of the PVC filling strip. The signal cable layer has a plurality of signal lines evenly arranged therein, each of which are circumscribed with the first Teflon® belt and the second Teflon® belt, and with two signal lines adjacent thereto.
Cable and cable processing method
The present disclosure discloses a cable and a cable processing method. The cable includes a wire core, a metal braid layer, a magnetic powder layer, a metal shield, an outer sheath and an elastic ring. The metal braid layer includes an inner braid portion and an everted braid portion which are mutually connected. The inner braid portion is wrapped around an outer side of the wire core, the magnetic powder layer is wrapped around an outer side of the inner braid portion, the metal shield is wrapped around an outer side of the magnetic powder layer, and the outer sheath is wrapped around an outer side of the metal shield. The elastic ring is sleeved outside the inner braid portion, the everted braid portion is wrapped around outer sides of the elastic ring and the outer sheath, and the elastic ring covers an end surface of the metal shield.
MOUNTING AND CATHODIC PROTECTION
Methods and apparatus are disclosed. The apparatus includes a substantially cylindrical mount body comprising a first open mouth at a first end of the cylindrical body and a further open mouth at a remaining end of the cylindrical body, a substantially cylindrical inner surface, and an outer surface that includes a plurality of spaced apart substantially parallel recessed regions that extends circumferentially around the body, wherein the cylindrical body is tapered at each end and at least one securing element is located between the recessed regions.
ROBUST HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE ROUTING/MOUNTING COUPLING
A cable assembly for a work machine, includes a cable and a collet. The cable includes an electrically conductive core, an insulating layer covering the core; an electrically conductive shield layer covering the insulating layer over a first length of the cable, and the insulating layer is exposed over a second length of the cable. The shield layer is folded back over a fold length, and the fold length includes two layers of the shield layer. The collet includes an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve extending over a portion of the inner sleeve at an end of the collet. The two shield layers of the fold length are arranged over the inner sleeve and under the outer sleeve, the insulating layer is arranged under the inner sleeve, and the second length of the cable extends through the inner sleeve.
TWO-CORE CABLE
A two-core cable includes two coated wires and a metal tape. Each of the two coated wires includes a conductor and an insulating layer that covers an outer surface of the conductor, and the metal tape is configured to collectively cover outer surfaces of the two coated wires. The metal tape has a structure in which a resin layer and a metal layer are stacked, and the resin layer is located towards the two coated wires relative to the metal layer.
Method of manufacturing electrical cable, and resulting product, with reduced required installation pulling force
Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.

LOW NOISE OXIMETRY CABLE
The present disclosure includes a cable for a patient monitoring system. The cable can have a flexible and durable overall construction that enables the cable to withstand repeated winding and unwinding and prevent kinks from developing. The cable may include multiple bundles encased in inner jackets that reduce the amount of friction against other cable elements and allows the bundle to move more freely inside an outer jacket of the cable. The multiple bundles may include multiple wires or cords. The cable can include a flexible core that runs through the middle of the cable. The multiple bundles can be twisted, weaved, or untwisted around the core.
