Wire harness

A conductive path (1) used in a wire harness includes a conductor (2) and an insulator (3). The conductive path (1) includes parts corresponding to route restriction sections (A, B) where route restriction is required, and parts corresponding to sections other than the route restriction sections (A, B), that is, different sections (C, D, E). The insulator (3) includes an extrusion-molded insulator main body (4) and multiple thick parts (6) post-attached to an outer surface (5) of the insulator main body (4). The thick parts (6) are disposed and formed at positions corresponding to the route restriction sections (A, B).

Hybrid cable, method for its manufacture and use of such a hybrid cable

An electric lead contains at least three conductors. Each of conductors has a line which is surrounded by a conductor sheath. Two of the conductors are embodied as signal conductors, and form, with a common partial lead sheath surrounding them, a first partial lead, in particular a signal lead. Another of the conductors is embodied as a power conductor and forms a second partial lead, in particular a power lead. The conductors are surrounded by a separating sleeve, which is in turn surrounded by a common sheath of the electric lead. The lead is characterized in that the partial lead sheath has an inner sheath section and an outer sheath section, and the outer sheath section is harder than the inner sheath section.

MESSAGING ACHIEVEMENT PICTOGRAPH DISPLAY SYSTEM

Systems and methods for causing display of a messaging achievement pictograph based on messaging activity are provided. In some example embodiments, a message activity communication is received by a messaging activity service from a client device, the messaging active communication causing and adjustment to a message activity score and the message activity score transgressing a first threshold activity score. Responsive to the message activity transgressing the first threshold activity score, an achievement pictograph is displayed on the client device. In some example embodiments, the pictograph may be ephemeral and removal of the pictograph may be triggered by a designated time or by the message activity score transgressing a second threshold activity score. In some example embodiments, a notification is generated that notifies a user of the display or removal from display of the achievement pictograph.

PROTECTIVE COVER FOR A POWER CORD
20220311170 · 2022-09-29 ·

A protective cover for the connector of a power cord is provided. The protective cover has a body that defines an enclosure for protectively housing the connector and any associated built-up portion, as well as the portion of the power cord that interfaces with the connector and/or built-up portion. The protective cover may have a filament extending therefrom to a cord ring that attaches to the power cord itself to act as a lanyard toggle. The protective cover may move between an open position and a closed position for receiving and protecting, respectively, the connector. The protective cover may also have elastic properties enabling it to elastically deform sufficiently to slide onto the connector, wherein a tapered hood of the protective cover shrouds the portion of the power cord that interfaces with the connector and/or built-up portion.

Method and apparatus for suppressing cable dynamics in a device towed in water. The apparatus includes at least one section for suppression of motion, wherein the at least one section includes an axial motion suppression section; and the axial motion suppression section comprising equipment for the attenuation of axial vibrations in an electro-mechanical cable. The equipment is configured to produce a digressive stiffness curve.

Wire exterior body and exterior-covered wire harness

A wire exterior body and an exterior-covered wire harness, capable of preventing damage to thereby suppress deterioration in the protective function for electric wires, are provided. A wire exterior body (3) formed of a resin sheet, to be mounted on the outer periphery of the wire harness (2), includes bending portions (20a) to (20d) at which the resin sheet is bent, and a plurality of wall parts (4) formed of the resin sheet bent at the bending portions (20a) to (20d). The wall parts (4) extend along the extending direction of the electric wires and form an accommodating part (5) that accommodates the electric wires. Grooves (21a) to (21d) are formed in the bending portions (20a) to (20d) at positions separated by predetermined spaces (S1) and (S2) from end portions (4a) and (4b), in the extending direction of the electric wires, of the wall parts (4).
