CONNECTION ELEMENT FOR ELECTRICALLY CONNECTING A FLUID-COOLABLE INDIVIDUAL LINE, FLUID-COOLABLE INDIVIDUAL LINE UNIT, AND CHARGING CABLE
The invention relates to a connection element for electrically connecting an individual line which has a concentric conductor arrangement (32) and a central passage (33) for a cooling fluid. The connection element comprises an electrically conductive housing (2) with a sleeve-shaped pressing portion which is suitable for producing a press connection to the concentric conductor arrangement (32). The electrically conductive housing (2) here has an internal cooling passage (10) with a connection opening (11) for an external cooling line, said cooling passage leading into a space surrounded by the sleeve-shaped pressing portion. In addition, the connection element comprises a counterpressure element (3) which can at least partially lie in the space surrounded by the sleeve-shaped pressing portion. The counterpressure element (3) is furthermore configured to support the concentric conductor arrangement (32) on the inner side thereof when the sleeve-shaped pressing portion is compressed during the production of a press connection. The invention furthermore relates to a fluid-coolable individual line unit and to a charging cable having a charging connector.
Assembled electrical cable, method for assembling an electrical cable, and electrical plug connection
The invention relates to an assembled electrical cable (1). The cable (1) has a cooling channel (2) extending along the center axis (M) of the cable (1) and at least one inner conductor (4) extending along the outer surface of the cooling channel (2). The cable (1) furthermore has a cable sheath (7) guiding the inner conductor (4) and the cooling channel (2) within itself and a contact element (9) for an electrical plug connector (10), wherein the contact element (9) is electrically and mechanically connected to at least one portion of the inner conductor (4) exposed from the cable sheath (7). According to the invention, the inner conductor (4) is integrally joined to the contact element (9) or is compacted in a planar manner in order to form the contact element (9).
COOLED CHARGING CABLE
A single line for a charging cable, for example for electric vehicles, and a charging cable having single lines of this kind are provided. The single line (10) includes a cooling hose (12) in which a coolant (14) can be conveyed, and at least one uninsulated electrical conductor (16). The at least one uninsulated electrical conductor (16) is connected in a thermally conductive manner to the cooling hose (12) in such a way that the at least one uninsulated electrical conductor (16) can be cooled by the coolant (14).
Thermal management for a motor feeder
Provided are embodiments for a feeder cooling tube, a system and method for performing thermal management. Embodiments include a feeder cooling tube having an inner tube arranged to define a path to flow a fluid through a length of the inner tube, wherein the fluid is provided to remove heat, and an outer tube arranged to enclose the inner tube which defines an area. Embodiments also include one or more feeder cables arranged between the inner tube and the outer tube, and a plurality of cooling struts, wherein each cooling strut of the plurality of cooling struts extends from a surface of the inner tube to a surface of the outer tube.
LEAK DETECTION IN A CABLE ASSEMBLY
A cable assembly includes a cable having a first end and a second end. The cable has an electric conductor and a cooling conduit, each of which extends from the first end to the second end. The cooling conduit is adapted to convey a fluid that cools the electric conductor. The cable assembly includes a leak detection module to detect a leak of the fluid from the cooling conduit. The leak detection module includes a power source to generate an input voltage signal which is applied at a first node contact with the fluid. The leak detection module includes a controller to monitor an output voltage signal at the first node and to detect a leak of the fluid from the cooling conduit based on the output voltage signal.
EVALUATION JIG AND EVALUATION METHOD
An evaluation jig comprises a pair of female terminals connectable to a pair of male terminals of a charging connector, and an adjustment member that can adjust contact resistance of the female terminal and the male terminal. The female terminal is reducible in diameter. The adjustment member can apply an external force to the female terminal to reduce the female terminal in diameter.

Conductor systems for suspended or underground transmission lines
A conductor assembly for transmitting power includes a former that defines a shape, a superconductor material disposed around the former, and a thermally insulating jacket (TIJ) disposed around and spaced apart from the superconductor material. An outer surface of the superconductor material and an inner surface of the TIJ can define an annulus through which a coolant can flow. The conductor assembly can also include an external layer, disposed around an outside surface of the TIJ, to provide structural support to the conductor assembly. The conductor assembly can also include an electrical insulation layer disposed around the outside surface of the TIJ or around the superconductor material.
