Cable
A cable includes: at least two cores for transmitting signals, a first insulator and a second insulator each wrapping one of the cores, and a shielding sheet. The first insulator has a first surface, the second insulator has a second surface urging against the first surface, and at least parts of the first surface and the second surface are not overlapped. The shielding sheet has a wrapping portion, and a first end portion and a second end portion located on two sides of the wrapping portion. The wrapping portion longitudinally wraps around both the first insulator and the second insulator in the direction parallel to axes of the cores, such that a space is formed between the shielding sheet, the first surface, and the second surface. The first end portion and the second end portion bend and enter the space.

Helically insulated twinax cable systems and methods
A helically wound insulated twinax cable reduces cable dielectric loss by increasing the percentage of air in the dielectric filler surrounding the signal conductors. The helical insulator wire winding further provides mechanical support and reduces the risk of creating an electrical short-circuit. This will improve differential signaling capability of the two-conductor cable and enable longer cable range.
Wiring harness and coaxial wire
A wiring harness includes an electric wire having a conductor part and an insulator, the insulator covering an outer periphery of the conductor part and containing a plasticizer, and a coaxial wire having an internal conductor, an internal insulator, an external conductor, and a sheath, the internal insulator provided on an outer periphery of the internal conductor, the external conductor provided on an outer periphery of the internal insulator, and the sheath covering an outer periphery of the external conductor. The coaxial wire is arranged adjacent to the electric wire. The coaxial wire comprises a film layer which is provided between the internal insulator and the external conductor and which prevents transfer of the plasticizer. A contact force between the internal insulator and the film layer is 1N or more.
HIGH SPEED TRANSMISSION CABLE
The present invention relates to a high speed transmission cable that includes a first conductor set, a dielectric film at least partially concentrically disposed around the first conductor set and a pinched portion forming an insulating envelope around the first conductor set. The dielectric film includes a base layer having a plurality of first protrusions formed on a first major surface of the base layer, wherein the dielectric film is disposed such that the base layer is partially concentric with the conductor set and wherein a portion of the first protrusions is disposed between the first conductor set and the base layer in a region where the base layer is concentric with the first conductor set.
Method for making cable jacket with embedded shield
A cable includes a jacket, a shielding tape, a pair of wires, an inner and outer jacket layer, and a separator. The shielding tape includes a substrate and a plurality of conductive shield segments disposed on the substrate. The pair of wires form a twisted pair. The inner and outer jacket layers are extruded onto inner and outer surfaces, respectively, of the substrate. The substrate, the inner jacket layer and the outer jacket layer are bonded together into a single layer that defines a circumference. Each of the conductive shield segments: extends only partially around the circumference of the single layer; is longitudinally spaced from each longitudinally adjacent one of the conductive shield segments; is radially spaced from, and overlaps a portion of, each immediately circumferentially adjacent one of the conductive shield segments; and is embedded in at least one of the inner jacket layer and the outer jacket layer.
Coaxial cable with dielectric layer having sealed segments and method of making same
A coaxial cable includes: a center conductor; a dielectric layer circumferentially surrounding the center conductor; and an outer conductor circumferentially surrounding the dielectric layer. The dielectric layer comprises an inner sleeve that circumferentially overlies the center conductor and an outer sleeve that circumferentially overlies the inner conductor. The outer sleeve contacts the inner sleeve to form a plurality of longitudinally-spaced seams to create a plurality of sealed segments along a longitudinal axis of the cable.
Coaxial cable
A coaxial cable is disclosed that may include an inner conductor and an outer conductor surrounding the inner conductor in a coaxial relationship. The coaxial cable may also include an insulative material located between the inner conductor and the outer conductor. A thickness of the insulative material between the inner conductor and the outer conductor may be increased in every direction at a bent portion of the coaxial cable as compared to the thickness of the insulative material between the inner conductor and the outer conductor at a non-bent portion of the coaxial cable.

The coaxial wire is arranged adjacent to the electric wire. The coaxial wire comprises a film layer which is provided between the internal insulator and the external conductor and which prevents transfer of the plasticizer. A contact force between the internal insulator and the film layer is 1N or more.
