A cable includes: a pair of wires including two inner conductors and a respective insulating layer covering each of the two inner conductors; a first shielding layer covering the pair of wires; a second shielding layer covering the first shielding layer; and an outer coating layer covering the second shielding layer, wherein the insulation layer is covered with a sheath layer that is simultaneously extruded and formed, and the sheath layer covers the wires so that the two wires abut each other in parallel.

ELECTRICAL CABLE

An electrical cable including a plurality of substantially parallel insulated conductors is described. Each insulated conductor includes an electrically conductive inner conductor co-extensive and covered with an insulating layer. At least a portion of a periphery of each insulated conductor may be encompassed by a substantially co-extensive electrically conductive shield. For each insulated conductor, portions of the insulating layer are removed from the top side of the cable to expose a portion of the inner conductor of the insulated conductor. The insulated conductor is adapted to mate with an electrically conductive mating conductor at the exposed portion of the inner conductor.

High-speed flat cable having better bending/folding memory and manufacturing method thereof

A high-speed flat cable includes a plurality of shielded signal units, one or more bendable composite layers, and an adhesive layer. The shielded signal units are substantially coplanar, spaced apart from each other or adjoining each other. The one or more bendable composite layers includes an inner insulating film layer, a bendable aluminum foil layer, and an outer insulating film layer. The one or more bendable composite layers composed of the inner insulating film layer, the bendable aluminum foil layer, and the outer insulating film layer increase its mechanical bending/folding property to improve the bending/folding memory. The one or more bendable composite layers allows the flat cable to be bent with ease without rebounding, thereby enhancing production efficiency.

MULTI-CORE CABLE AND SIGNAL TRANSMISSION PATH

A multi-core cable includes a plurality of coaxial cables being arranged in parallel with each other, and a synthetic resin covering member that collectively covers the plurality of coaxial cables. Each coaxial cable includes a center conductor, an insulator covering an outer periphery of the center conductor, and a metal outer conductor covering an outer periphery of the insulator. The covering member holds the plurality of coaxial cables in such a manner that the plurality of coaxial cables are aligned side by side along a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the plurality of coaxial cables. At least a part of the outer conductors of the plurality of the coaxial cables respectively contacts the covering member.

A multilayered substrate includes first, second, and third insulating layers, and a transmission line. The first insulating layer includes first and second surfaces opposite to each other. A signal conductor of the transmission line is on the first surface of the first insulating layer. The second insulating layer is in contact with the first surface of the first insulating layer. The third insulating layer is in contact with the second surface of the first insulating layer. A dielectric loss of the second insulating layer is lower than a dielectric loss of the third insulating layer. A degree of close contact between the first insulating layer and the third insulating layer is higher than a degree of close contact between the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer.

A routing structure of a two-core parallel shielded electric wire includes: two insulated electric wires that are arranged in parallel; and a shield layer that is attached around the two insulated electric wires and extends in a longitudinal direction of the two insulated electric wires. In the routing structure, the two-core parallel shielded electric wire is rerouted by bent twisting the two-core parallel shielded electric wire in a short axis direction at a route change point along a long axis direction of the two-core parallel shielded electric wire, and the number of bent twisted points in the short axis direction is 1.43 or less per meter.

SHIELDED ELECTRICAL CABLE

A shielded electrical cable includes conductor sets extending along a length of the cable and spaced apart from each other along a width of the cable. First and second shielding films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and include cover portions and pinched portions arranged such that, in transverse cross section, the cover portions of the films in combination substantially surround each conductor set. An adhesive layer bonds the shielding films together in the pinched portions of the cable. A transverse bending of the cable at a cable location of no more than 180 degrees over an inner radius of at most 2 mm causes a cable impedance of the selected insulated conductor proximate the cable location to vary by no more than 2 percent from an initial cable impedance measured at the cable location in an unbent configuration.
