WIRE HARNESS PRODUCING DEVICE
A wire harness producing device configured to produce a wire harness by displaying a wire laying-out drawing in a full size in a length direction on a plurality of display devices, and laying-out electric wires along the wire laying-out drawing. The device includes a displaying control section configured to look up operation recipe information configured as a database capable of identifying wire laying-out order numbers of the electric wires, and in turn display wire laying-out position indicators configured to indicate positions of the electric wires to be laid out, on the plurality of display devices, according to a wire laying-out order of the electric wires. The operation recipe information includes coordinate information for indicating displaying positions for the wire laying-out position indicators. The displaying control section is configured to display the wire laying-out position indicators, in the displaying positions indicated by the coordinate information on the plurality of display devices.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness producing method configured to produce a wire harness by arranging a plurality of display devices end to end, each including a display portion and a bezel arranged around a periphery of the display portion, displaying a wire laying-out drawing on the display devices, and laying out an electric wire along the wire laying-out drawing. The method includes compartmentalizing a two-dimensional image of the wire harness into display regions to be displayed on the display portions of the display devices respectively and non-display regions corresponding to the bezels of the display devices respectively, with the display regions and the non-display regions conforming to sizes of the display portions and the bezels respectively, trimming the two-dimensional image to create wire laying-out image data composed of only the display regions, and displaying the wire laying-out drawing on the display devices, based on the wire laying-out image data.
WIRE HARNESS PRODUCTION SUPPORTING DEVICE AND WIRE HARNESS PRODUCTION SUPPORTING METHOD
A wire harness production supporting device configured to produce a wire harness by in turn laying out a plurality of electric wires on a wire laying out drawing. This wire harness production supporting device is composed of a time recording section configured to, each time one of the plurality of electric wires is laid out, store a time at which the one of the plurality of electric wires has been laid out, in a storing section, and a progress status administrating section configured to obtain a progress status of the production of the wire harness based on the time at which the one of the plurality of electric wires has been laid out having been stored in the storing section.
CABLE-LAYING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING WIRING HARNESSES
A cable-laying device for producing wiring or cable harnesses of different types includes a laying plane for positioning lines of a wiring or cable harness, a plurality of transport units which can be moved relative to the laying plane in an at least partially automated manner, and a control device which is configured to control the transport units. A method for producing cable harnesses of different types by using a cable laying device is also provided.
MULTI-CORE CABLE CORE ALIGNMENT DEVICE AND MULTI-CORE CABLE CORE ALIGNMENT METHOD
A multi-core cable core aligning device is composed of a temporary holding mechanism, which is configured to arrange tips of a plurality of cores exposed at one end of a multi-core cable in a row along a predetermined arranging direction, and temporarily hold each one of the plurality of cores in such a manner as to be movable along the predetermined arranging direction, a transferring mechanism, which is configured to transfer the plurality of cores one by one while separating the plurality of cores held by the temporary holding mechanism one by one from other ones of the plurality of cores, and an aligning mechanism, which is configured to align and hold the plurality of cores with a predetermined space between adjacent ones of the plurality of cores while holding the plurality of cores transferred by the transferring mechanism one by one at spaced intervals.
WIRE HARNESS MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND WIRE HARNESS MANUFACTURING METHOD
A wire harness manufacturing apparatus includes: a jig plate that is used in disposing of a wire; a mobile body that retains the wire and is movable on the jig plate; and a controller configured to carry out movement control of the mobile body and cause the mobile body to move depending on a shape of a wire harness to carry out the disposing of the wire. The jig plate has a magnetic body provided in a mobile region of the mobile body, and the mobile body has a magnetic force generator that generates magnetic force that serves as attraction force with respect to the jig plate.
Wire harness assembly holding device
A peg apparatus is described that is suitable for use with an electrical wire harness peg board. The pegs are utilized on a wire harness peg board during the assembly of a wire harness, and are particularly well suited for use in an automated assembly of the electrical wire harness where a constant upward, downward or lateral tension is desired without altering the free ends of each wire of an assembled wire harness.
Method of manuacturing a three-dimensional work vehicle wiring harness
A method of manufacturing a wiring harness for a work vehicle includes providing a tool board assembly having a tool board base, wire supports extending from the tool board base each having a wire holder on a top end thereof distal from the tool board base, and a plurality of I/O connector holders extending from the tool board base and each having an angularly adjustable connector mount. A wiring harness is provided having a main harness branch and a plurality of breakout harness branches extending off the main harness branch, with each breakout harness branch having an I/O connector at an end thereof. The wiring harness is configured, via arranging thereof on the tool board assembly, to arrange the breakout harness branches at a plurality of breakout angles relative to the main harness branch and at oblique-angle orientations that are non-parallel and non-perpendicular to the tool board base.
CABLE HARNESS
A method of manufacturing a cable harness may comprise the steps of providing a plurality of cables, wherein each cable comprises a cable inner and a coating, wherein each cable inner comprises at least one conductor, locating at least a portion of each of the plurality of cables within a mould tool, heating the portions of each of the plurality of cables such that the coating of each cable consolidates to form a common harness with a solid cross section, wherein the cable inners are arranged within the common harness.
