Putting Kit
A putting kit for teaching, learning and practicing the art of putting comprises an inline putting frame that has various voids to accept golf tees. The golf tees may be in a raised position so as to define are more narrow passage way for both a golf ball and golf club head. By narrowing such passages, a golfer learns to make more refined a accurate club swings, such that the apex of the arc of the swing occurs directly at the back of the golf ball. A portable target or moveable golf cup allows for many golfers or students to practice upon the same green. A bubble level may be attached to the portable target to show a student the slope of the green. A ball firing mechanism may be aimed by use of the inline frame with the fired ball demonstrating the slope of the green.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PORTABLE BALL GAME
A method and apparatus facilitating a portable game including a housing for receiving all parts of the game which housing and parts can be expeditiously assembled to form goals for playing a game on land or in the water. The housing comprises a cylinder, such as a bucket, cut in half vertically, being separable and re-connectable. Each half of the housing can include a hole to be used as a scoring goal. A modular extension pole supports each half of the housing. The game is preferably played with a ball and a first and second scoring goals. The method facilitates playing in water, grass/dirt/ground, and as a team sport.
Portable Disc Sport Training Apparatus
A portable training apparatus including a collapsible frame and a net is provided. The collapsible frame includes a pair of base supports, a pair of vertical poles, and a horizontal pole. The base supports rest on a support surface. Each vertical pole is secured to a mid-section of a corresponding base support and projects upwards therefrom. The horizontal pole is disposed generally perpendicular to the vertical poles and is secured between the mid-sections of the base supports. The net is releasably secured to the vertical poles and the horizontal pole. The net includes one or more pockets built thereinto for receiving and retaining a sporting projectile, for example, a disc, thrown thereinto during practicing of disc golf drives, approach shots, and putts. Each pocket includes a top opening and a bottom opening integrated into the net for receiving and allowing removal of the sporting projectile, respectively.
User interface system for an interactive exercise machine
A user interface for an interactive exercise system includes a display module held by a mechanical support system, with the display module able to display a video of a trainer. The trainer can be presented in full body view against a black background and a mirror element attached to at least partially cover the display module.
SPORTS TRAINING MAT
Described herein are devices and systems relating to sports training equipment, for example, for baseball. These devices and systems can comprise a mat with markers identifying a plurality of positions on the mat. In some embodiments, the system can comprise removably attachable footpads to identify ideal foot positions for an athletic performance. In some embodiments, the footpads comprise one or more pressure sensors. The system can comprise one or more position sensors on a ball, and one or more position sensors removably attachable to a hand-held sports instrument. In some embodiments, the system can comprise a memory, communicatively coupled to a processor and a camera, with executable instructions to implement a set-up component, a user recognition component, a practice component, and instructional component, and a play component.
REBOUNDER SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Elastic athletic systems, including ball rebounder systems, and methods for assembly and use. A ball rebounder system includes a frame having a target portion and a support portion, a net, and a net attachment tool. The net attachment tool increases leverage and may be used to tightly secure the net to the target portion, and an angle between the target portion and the support portion may be adjusted with a foot pedal such that the net rebounds a ball at a higher or lower trajectory depending on the angle. A lower crossbar of the frame may include a plurality of net hooks that secure the net in a forward position such that the ball does not contact the lower crossbar during use. The ball rebounder system may be used to rebound the ball to an athlete as part of training.
Pivoting Soccer Goal and Game
A pivoting soccer goal mounted on a turntable can rotate so that a ball directed at the goal from nearly any angle will rotate the goal so that the ball will go into the goal. The goal can be seated in a standard golf cup and so can be used on a golf course. In another embodiment, the pivoting soccer goal can be mounted on a mat and set on any suitable field without the need for any holes in the ground.
Shoot the boots brand backyard and tailgating game
A recreational activity and component pieces for that activity in which one or more participants toss a specially designed article that fits over at least the toe portion of their footwear, the toss using their lower extremities (leg and foot) in combination with upper body for balance and coordination. The activity can be adapted as a game in which the participants or players score points while sometimes negotiating obstacles or making goals depending on the game of choice. The game tests a player's kick toss agility.
Satellite Golf Club Carrier
A satellite golf club carrier for porting a club subset from a golfing cart to the hole shot, easing the port through a balanced carrier grip and a place to place a subset of clubs without scattering clubs on the golfing ground near tee-off follow on stroke shots.
Swing training system and method
A swing training system includes a base unit having a grapple that is movable between open and closed positions. A free end of an elongated swing device, such as a golf club or a hockey stick, is secured within the grapple. The swing device is manipulated to exert a force on the grapple and a load cell, away from the base unit, for a predetermined value, such as force and/or time. Relative movement between the grapple and the base is substantially limited while the swing device is manipulated. Once the predetermined value is attained, the grapple releases the free end of the swing device.
