A hockey faceoff training device has a base for placement on a playing surface, support posts standing upright from the base for placement of disc weights thereover into stacked condition atop the base for weighted anchoring thereof on the playing surface, a connector removably attached to top ends of the posts, and an impact member coupled to said connector via a moveable joint from which the impact members extends downwardly toward the playing surface in a default position. The movable joint comprises a coil spring situated inline with a proximal end of the impact member to bias the impact member into the default position. The base has deployable and retractable spikes to better grip the playing surface. The topside of the base comprises recessed access cavities to accommodate a user's fingers during placement or removal of the disc weights onto or from the base.
Antagonistic throwing game appliance
An antagonistic throwing game apparatus comprises a support, a throwing net installed on the support, and an accessory ball, wherein the accessory ball is coated with Velcro so that the ball can be adhered to the throwing net by throwing; the periphery of the throwing net is provided with an edging; an upper part of the edging is provided with a through hole, through which a guide rope passes; a free end of the guide rope is detachably connected with a locating element, wherein the support comprises a main frame body passing through the edging, and a lower end of the main frame body is detachably connected with two joints which are fixedly connected via a plurality of connecting rods with ball-tipped plungers. Ends of the joints remote from the connecting rods are detachably connected with two supporting rods. The existing throwing game apparatuses have problems such as poor stability, inconvenient disassembly and assembly. In this solution, the throwing game apparatus is provided with a guide rope and a locating element, so that the overall stability of the throwing game apparatus is enhanced, and it is convenient for practical use. The throwing game apparatus can be conveniently stored and carried through the detachably connected support.
Fencer Target Training System (FTTS)
A Fencing Target Training System that can be used, anytime and anywhere it is properly installed, by a single user, multiple fencers/users, coach(es), and others for as long as desired to practice, train, coach, and conduct recreational fencing with a stand-alone system when other options are not available or as a complimentary system to traditional methods. It is comprised of three major entities: A main wall mounted opponent fencer target henceforth referred to as (40) which can be replaced with other FTTS targes as presented in FIGS. 19 through 37; a supporting wall or ceiling mounted opponent fencer simulated interaction/reaction sword blade contraption henceforth referred to as (42) with and optional add-on target of (98); and a strip (or piste)/foot placement measuring tape henceforth referred to as (44), and as all depicted in FIG. 1. The advantages of the FTTS are an integrated system that provides the individual fencer or multiple users with an interactive and hybrid way to practice/train for speed, accuracy, timing, mental focus, visualization, form/footwork, techniques, tactics, procedures, physical fitness and endurance, or other activities related to the sport of fencing and other recreational uses in a club, home, or other place of sport/recreational usage.
RECREATIONAL GAME AND METHOD OF PLAYING THE SAME
A recreational game is disclosed, including at least one flying disc, wherein a player on each of a set of teams throws the flying disc towards two sets of goal rings positioned on opposing sides of one another. The player on each set of teams attempts to throw the flying disc through one of the two sets of rings to obtain a point value. At least one ball is utilized as a defensive element to prevent the flying disc from travelling through one of the rings.
Sports ball rebound and boundary system
A sports ball rebound and boundary system including at least one portable post portion, configured to in use stand upright unsupported, and a barrier portion. The post portion and the barrier portion are configured for mutual releasable connection so that at least part of the barrier portion is extendible from the post portion to form a substantially vertically aligned planar barrier extending upwards from substantially ground level. The barrier portion is further configured to in use remain under sufficient tension to cause a ball or similar to rebound when striking the barrier.

The sparring arms heavy bag boxing apparatus is a pair of simulated sparring opponent arms as a jab arm and a power arm of different lengths adjustably attached to a heavy bag with a stabilizing weight attached to the bottom of the heavy bag to stabilize the motion of the heavy bag for sparring practice even with out a training partner. The jab and power arms may optionally be weighed. Use of the sparring arms heavy bag boxing apparatus promotes a boxer's capacity to find distance and range with accuracy and precision.
PLAY APPARATUS
A base for a play apparatus is disclosed, which includes: a container defining an internal volume and an opening providing access to the internal volume; a removable lid configured to cover the opening; and a securing means operable to secure the lid in place over the opening; where the securing means comprises a first part and a second part, the first part being fixedly attached to or integrally formed with the container and the second part being fixedly attached to or integrally formed with the lid, the first part and the second part being configured to engage directly with each other to secure the lid in place, in use, when the lid is placed over the opening.
Baseball fielding mat apparatus and method
A training device and method for baseball, softball, and other sports provides a plurality of fixed or adjustable bump elements on a transportable support surface so the device can be easily stored, transported, and positioned for hop drills and other training routines. In one embodiment, the device is a flexible one-piece mat or other support surface with a plurality of integral bump elements. The mat may be rolled for storage, transported with a carry arm strap, unrolled into a desired position on a field or indoor practice area, and then used to deflect balls that are rolled over it. After use, the device rolls up easily for transport and storage.
