A magnetic body, a curable composition comprising the same, and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a magnetic body includes magnetic particles, and a surface treatment agent bonded to the surface of the magnetic particles, wherein the magnetic particles comprise crystals having a size in a range of 10 nm to 40 nm, wherein the magnetic particles have an average particle diameter in a range of 20 nm to 300 nm, and wherein the magnetic particles have a particle diameter variation coefficient in a range of 5% to 30%. The magnetic body may have an excellent calorific value, and at the same time, may maintain the calorific value uniformly. In the magnetic body, the calorific value characteristics may be freely adjusted. The curable composition of the present application can be easily cured by using a magnetic body that satisfies all the characteristics.
Method of making chromium-substituted spinel ferrite nanoparticles for microbe treatment
Methods of forming spinel ferrite nanoparticles containing a chromium-substituted copper ferrite as well as properties (e.g. particle size, crystallite size, pore size, surface area) of these spinel ferrite nanoparticles are described. Methods of preventing or reducing microbe growth on a surface by applying these spinel ferrite nanoparticles onto the surface in the form of a suspension or an antimicrobial product are also described.
FERRITE NANOPARTICLES

3-dimensional pattern transfer nanomanufacturing
Methods for forming a multi-layered nanoscale structure by forming a stack of individual polymeric layers on a substrate are provided. Each individual polymeric layer comprises a cured polymeric material immobilizing a pattern of magnetic nanoparticles. The pattern of magnetic nanoparticles can be different within each individual polymeric layer due to their nature of formation.
Superparamagnetic particle scaffold for regenerating damaged neural tissue
The invention generally relates to a method of regenerating a nerve fiber in a damaged neural tissue of a patient, the method comprising the steps of: administering an aqueous formulation comprising superparamagnetic particles to the damaged neural tissue in the patient; applying a magnetic field in an orientation which is parallel to the nerve fiber; using the magnetic field for aligning the superparamagnetic particles; forming one or more aligned chains of the superparamagnetic particles in the magnetic field as a scaffold to guide directional growth of regenerating nerve cells; and reconnecting damaged nerve ends in the damaged neural tissue of the patient.
METHOD FOR PREPARING A MAGNETIC CHAIN STRUCTURE
A method for preparing a magnetic chain structure is provided. The method comprises providing a plurality of magnetic particles; dispersing the plurality of magnetic particles in a solution comprising a dopamine-based material to form a reaction mixture; applying a magnetic field across the reaction mixture to align the magnetic particles in the reaction mixture; and polymerizing the dopamine-based material on the aligned magnetic particles to obtain the magnetic chain structure. A magnetic chain structure prepared by the method is also provided.
Core shell superparamagnetic iron cobalt alloy nanoparticles with functional metal silicate core shell interface and a magnetic core containing the nanoparticles
Core shell nanoparticles of an iron-cobalt alloy core, a silicon dioxide shell and a metal silicate interface between the core and the shell are provided. The magnetic properties of the nanoparticles are tunable by control of the interface thickness. A magnetic core of high magnetic moment obtained by compression sintering the thermally annealed superparamagnetic core shell nanoparticles is also provided. The magnetic core has little core loss due to hysteresis or eddy current flow.
IRON NITRIDE MAGNETIC MATERIAL INCLUDING COATED NANOPARTICLES
The disclosure describes techniques for forming nanoparticles including Fe.sub.16N.sub.2 phase. In some examples, the nanoparticles may be formed by first forming nanoparticles including iron, nitrogen, and at least one of carbon or boron. The carbon or boron may be incorporated into the nanoparticles such that the iron, nitrogen, and at least one of carbon or boron are mixed. Alternatively, the at least one of carbon or boron may be coated on a surface of a nanoparticle including iron and nitrogen. The nanoparticle including iron, nitrogen, and at least one of carbon or boron then may be annealed to form at least one phase domain including at least one of Fe.sub.16N.sub.2, Fe.sub.16(NB).sub.2, Fe.sub.16(NC).sub.2, or Fe.sub.16(NCB).sub.2.
