A device and a method for detecting a defect contour with omnidirectionally equal sensitivity based on magnetic excitation are provided. The device includes a magnetic sensor array arranged in a spatially uniform magnetic field and configured to collect a magnetic field signal, and a data analysis module configured to analyze the magnetic field signal, extract a distorted magnetic field signal, and obtain an image of the defect contour based on the distorted magnetic field signal.
Magnetic levitator
The present invention relates to a magnetic levitator. The magnetic levitator comprises a first portion having a first arrangement of a plurality of permanent magnets, and the first arrangement has first and second circumferences. The magnetic levitator also comprises a second portion having a second arrangement of a plurality of permanent magnets, and the second arrangement has a third circumference. The first and second arrangements are rotationally symmetrical, and the first circumference is larger than the third circumference. In use, one of the portions is magnetically levitated by the other one of the portions, and the second circumference is arranged substantially aligned to the third circumference.
MAGNETIZATION PURIFYING DEVICE FOR AIR AND WATER
A magnetization purifying device is provided. At least one or more accommodation spaces formed inside a housing unit along a preset depth or a width status are formed for accommodating a preset amount of magnetization purifying devices having corresponding status, a covering unit having an outwardly-extended engaging segment is provided and capable of being rotated for being matched with an opening formed at one end of the housing unit, another end of the housing unit capable of accommodating the magnetization purifying devices is formed with a recessed engaging segment, so that the magnetization purifying device can perform a predetermined rapid circulating magnetic force line cutting operation to introduced water or air, thereby enabling the water or air fully magnetized and discharged to be provided with anticipated pure oxygen and negative ions, thus the dissolved oxygen in water in a predetermined route, for example an aquaculture pond, can be increased.
Permanent magnet for generating homogenous and intense magnetic field
A permanent magnet assembly for generating a homogenous and intense magnetic field includes can be adjusted for both transverse and axial gradients after completed assembly while field inhomogeneity is being measured. Gaps between pole piece bodies and pole tips are adjustable to adjust the transverse and axial gradients in a space between the pole tips.
MAGNET ARRANGEMENT FOR PRODUCING A FIELD SUITABLE FOR NMR IN A CONCAVE REGION
A magnet system for use in a nuclear magnetic resonance (“NMR”) apparatus includes a first magnet and a second magnet located on a backplane to form a gap therebetween, wherein the first magnet and the second magnet are each shaped to form trapezoidal prisms with dimensions selected to optimize a magnetic field at a target region in space external to the magnet system.
Sensing of a magnetic target
An apparatus comprises a magnetic target for generating a magnetic field that is uniform and concentric about a central axis of the target; an array of three-axis digital magnetic compasses for sensing the magnetic field; and a processor for finding intersection points of vectors from the compasses to the target. The vectors lie in a global X-Y plane that is normal to the central axis. Each vector indicates a direction of sensed magnetic field from one of the compasses to the magnetic target.

PERMANENT MAGNET ASSEMBLY FOR MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING WITH NON-FERROMAGNETIC FRAME
An assembly for providing a B.sub.0 magnetic field for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, the assembly comprising: a plurality of ferromagnetic segments positioned to form: a bore extending along a common longitudinal direction, and a first gap, on a first side of the bore, to accommodate at least one first gradient coil, wherein at least some of the plurality of ferromagnetic segments are positioned on one side of the first gap and at least some others of the plurality of ferromagnetic segments are positioned on another side of the first gap.
SWAGED COMPONENT MAGNET ASSEMBLY FOR MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING
Systems and methods for providing a B.sub.0 magnetic field for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system using swaged permanent magnet components are provided. A first apparatus comprises a cylindrical shell forming a bore extending along a common longitudinal direction, the cylindrical shell comprising: a first plurality of ferromagnetic rings including a first ferromagnetic ring with an angularly varying magnetization orientation, and a second plurality of rings. A second apparatus comprises ferromagnetic rings including a first ferromagnetic ring and a second ferromagnetic ring, the first ferromagnetic ring having a first magnetization and the second ferromagnetic ring having a second magnetization, wherein: the first magnetization and the second magnetization have first radial and axial components and second radial and axial components, respectively; and the first radial and axial components are different than the second radial and axial components.
