The center shaft is fitted through the longitudinal interior bore exposing a first end portion of the center shaft at the first end of the handle tube and exposing a second end portion of the center shaft at the second end of the handle tube. A sensor is disposed on a mounting section of the outer surface of the center shaft between the first and second portion of the center shaft. A processor is disposed in an interior of the exercise bar. The sensor is in electronic communication with the processor in the exercise bar.
SMART CRICKET BAT AND PROCESS OF FABRICATION OF THE SAME
A smart cricket bat and a process of fabrication of the same is disclosed. The cricket bat includes an electronic system includes a plurality of sensors with sensor fusion to remove bias in sensed data. The plurality of sensors measure accurate data representative of rate of change of velocity, angular speed, orientation of the smart cricket bat, pressure exerted on the smart cricket bat by a ball, a pressure exerted on the handle unit by a hand grip of the batsman during swing of the smart cricket bat and one or more audio signals. The electronic system also includes a processing unit configured to process sensed data to calculate one or more metrics associated with batting. The electronic system also includes a transceiver unit configured to transmit one or more calculated metrics to a user's computing device.
Exercise machine controls
A method includes receiving electronic content via a network, the electronic content comprising an exercise class, and receiving user data associated with a user participating in the exercise class using an exercise machine. The method also includes generating an executable control for a user interface based at least in part on the user data, and providing the executable control, via a display of the exercise machine, while the user is participating in the exercise class. In such a method, the executable control is operable to modify a parameter of the exercise machine while the user is participating in the exercise class.
USER CONFIGURABLE TRAILER
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a tilt of a lower surface of the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a dimension(s) of the trailer based in part on a detected object(s). Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.
Exercise history managing device, exercise history managing method, and computer program for executing same in computer
The application relates to an exercise history managing device. In one aspect, the device includes a map data providing unit configured to provide, to a user terminal, map data about a specific area requested by the user terminal. The device may also include a user relation managing unit configured to manage a relationship between each user and the other users. The device may further include an exercise information managing unit configured to receive information about at least one of an exercise name that is input through the user terminal, a first category obtained by classifying exercises belonging to each exercise name according to a first condition, a second category obtained by classifying an exercise belonging to the first category according to a second condition, and a specific exercise belonging to the second category, store the information, and retrieve exercise information in response to a request from the user terminal.
MONITORING EXERCISE ACTIVITY IN A GYM ENVIRONMENT
A system for monitoring exercise activity in a gym environment includes an image-based monitoring arrangement, a storage device, and a replay device. The monitoring arrangement generates a time series of 3D representations of an individual, with each 3D representation defining a pose of the individual and comprising 3D positions of a plurality of predefined feature points of the individual. The storage device receives and stores an exercise sequence, which comprises at least part of the time series of 3D representations and corresponds to an exercise performed by the individual. The replay device retrieves the exercise sequence from the storage device, renders an animation of the individual when performing the exercise based on the exercise sequence, and provides the animation for display. The system enables a user to review the exercise at any desirable viewing angle and/or magnification.
DIGITAL MAT SYSTEM FOR MANAGEMENT AND ANALYSIS OF USER'S COGNITIVE AND PHYSICAL ABILITY
Provided is a digital mat system for managing and analyzing cognitive and physical abilities of a user that is capable of managing and analyzing individual cognitive and physical abilities of a user (particularly the elderly) and providing a customized solution that matches individual abilities, thereby assisting in preventing geriatric diseases, such as falling and dementia.
Exercise machine
An exercise machine may include a frame, a resistance mechanism supported by the frame, first and second pull cables supported by the frame and linked to the resistance mechanism, a power rack attached to the frame, first and second handles selectively attachable to the first and second pull cable, and first and second pulleys. The power rack includes upright posts configured to have barbell holders adjustably attached thereto such that the barbell holders are configured to be adjusted in various positions between highest positions and lowest positions on the upright posts. The pulleys are configured to selectively receive the pull cables to enable the pull cables to be selectively attached to a barbell to assist or hinder a user in lifting the barbell in a combined cable and free weight workout, the pull cables decoupled from the pulleys for cable workouts.
MUSCLE ACTIVITY OUTPUT SYSTEM
A muscle activity output system includes: a muscle activity database configured to hold movable part attitude information and muscle activity information in such a manner that the movable part attitude information and the muscle activity information are linked to each other; and a processor. The movable part attitude information indicates an attitude of a movable part of training equipment. The muscle activity information indicates a muscle activity of each of muscle sites of the exerciser. The processor is configured to acquire the movable part attitude information while the exerciser is moving the body along the trajectory, acquire current muscle activity information for each of the muscle sites based on current movable part attitude information of the training equipment and the muscle activity database, and output the current muscle activity information for each of the muscle sites.
Braking and Locking System for a Treadmill
A system for a treadmill with a tread that rotates on front wheels supported on a front axle and rear wheels supported on a rear axle includes a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises a first device associated with one of the front axle or the rear axle and configured to prevent rotation of respective front wheels or rear wheels in a first direction and a second device associated with another of the front axle or the rear axle and configured to prevent rotation of the respective front wheels or rear wheels in a second direction opposite the first direction. The system also includes a controller and a sensor configured to detect a user on the tread. The controller is configured to, in response to the sensor detecting no user on the manual treadmill, engage the locking mechanism to prevent movement of the front wheels and the rear wheels.
