A solid-state magnet control unit includes a housing and magnet controller circuitry mounted within the housing. The magnet controller circuitry controls current passing through a magnet. The magnet controller circuitry includes a power storage unit, drivers in a bridge network, e.g., an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) in a bridge network, and dump circuitry. The dump circuitry limits circuit damage to the magnet controller circuitry and other components contained within the magnet control unit. When the dump driver is not operational, operation of the magnet control unit is automatically switched to first or second safety mode of operation.

DEVICE, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR SEMICONDUCTOR TRANSFER

A device, apparatus, and method for semiconductor transfer are provided. A transfer substrate is controlled to be moved to be above the target substrate. An infrared emitting portion emits infrared signals to position a semiconductor on a target substrate. After a second magnetic portion picks up the semiconductor from the target substrate, a controller outputs a first control current to a first electromagnetic portion to cause the first electromagnetic portion to generate an electromagnetic force, to control the second magnetic portion to adjust a position of the picked-up semiconductor relative to the welding position on the target substrate, where adjusting the position of the picked up semiconductor includes horizontal adjustment.

An injection controller has a voltage applicator that applies a voltage to a driving coil of an injection valve. After a voltage is applied to the driving coil with a peak current for opening the injection valve, the voltage applicator applies a power supply voltage to the driving coil in an ON-OFF manner, to supply the driving coil with a less-than-peak current. A comparator detects whether a terminal voltage at a terminal of the coil is less than a predetermined threshold voltage. Upon detecting that the terminal voltage is less than the threshold voltage, a discharge switch applies a boosted voltage to the driving coil.
