ASSEMBLED MAGNETIC INDUCTOR WITH INSULATING LAYER COMPONENT
The present invention provides an assembled magnetic inductor with insulating layer component, and more particularly to printing, adhesion, or spray coating an insulating layer material on a pre-press molded surface of one of two internal metal components to cause an insulating layer to form on the outer surface thereof. Hence, an insulating layer between the two metal components is dispensed with in the assembly of the combination magnetic inductance, thereby further decreasing inductance of the assembly components, as well as reducing inter-component gaps and magnetic leakage, and acoustic noise.
IRON CORE STRUCTURE IN TRANSFORMER AND VOLTAGE CONVERTER
An iron core structure in a transformer which can show different leakage inductance values between primary and secondary windings includes an iron core, and the primary and secondary windings. A first core member of the iron core includes first and second side legs on either side of a first center leg, a second core member butted against the first includes third and fourth side legs on either side of a second center leg. The primary winding is arranged on the center leg, and the secondary winding is arranged on the side legs. The first and third side legs define a gap therebetween, there is a second gap defined between second and fourth side legs. Effective magnetic resistance of the side legs is increased, the primary and secondary windings show different leakage inductance values, and can meet diversified needs of power stage control circuits.
Ignition coil
An ignition coil includes a center core, a first core member, and a second core member. The first core member includes a first core-facing portion facing a front core surface of the center core and a first core side portion extending rearward from the first core-facing portion. The second core member includes a second core-facing portion facing a rear core surface of the center core and a second core side portion extending frontward from the second core-facing portion. The first core-facing portion has an end surface contacting a portion of the second core side portion to create a first contact region. Similarly, the second core-facing portion has an end surface contacting a portion of the first core side portion to create a second contact region. The first and second contact regions are shaped to approach frontward close to the first core side portion. This structure enhances productivity of the ignition coil.
DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING ENERGY TO A SENSOR ARRANGEMENT IN A RAIL VEHICLE
A device supplies energy to a sensor arrangement in a rail vehicle. The device has a housing in which there is arranged a coil which can be inductively coupled to a motor cable carrying an alternating current. The housing is embodied to enclose part of a length of the motor cable, and the coil is wound around an annular coil core which concentrically or substantially concentrically surrounds the motor cable. The housing has multiple parts including at least one first and one second housing part. The annular coil core is implemented in multiple parts and a first coil core part is arranged in the first housing part and a second coil core part is arranged in the second housing part. The housing is further embodied to mechanically secure the motor cable to a component of the rail vehicle and/or to mechanically connect the motor cable to a further motor cable.
Reactor
Provided is a reactor including a coil having a pair of winding portions; and a ring-shaped magnetic core, the magnetic core including: a pair of inner core portions arranged inside of the winding portions; and a pair of outer core portions respectively arranged outside of one end and outside of another end in an axial direction of the winding portions, the reactor including a non-magnetic reinforcing member that is arranged between the pair of winding portions and is coupled to the inner end surfaces of the pair of outer core portions. An axial rigidity of the reinforcing member is 2×10.sup.7 N/m or more. Here, the axial rigidity is a value obtained by multiplying the cross-sectional area of the reinforcing member perpendicular to the axial direction of the winding portions and the Young's modulus of the reinforcing member, and dividing the result by the length of the reinforcing member.
A MAGNETIC CORE DEVICE AND A POWER CONVERTER
The invention concerns a magnetic core device (1) to be used in a power converter (100), comprising at least one fixation leg (7), and a body (51) comprising a magnetic core (3). The at least one fixation leg (7) extends from the body (51), and is configured to firmly fixate the magnetic core device (1) to a target component (110) such as a housing (110) of the power converter (100). The at least one fixation leg (7) and the body (51) are integrally formed as one-piece.
NANOCRYSTALLINE STRUCTURES FOR WIRELESS CHARGING SYSTEMS
Implementations described herein provide systems and methods for wireless charging. In one implementation, a base has a planar surface. One or more posts extend from the planar surface of the base to form a core. Each of the one or more posts is formed from a plurality of nanocrystalline sheets. The plurality of nanocrystalline sheets of each of the one or more posts is oriented in planes perpendicular to the planar surface of the base. One or more coils are wound around each of the one or more posts to form coil windings.
Reactor and method of manufacturing the same
A reactor includes a coil including a wire that is covered with an insulating film and is wound, the coil including a first lateral surface and a second lateral surface different from the first lateral surface; a cooler that faces the first lateral surface; and an insulating heat radiation layer that is sandwiched between the first lateral surface and the cooler. In the first lateral surface, the wire is not covered with the insulating film. In the second lateral surface, the wire is covered with the insulating film. A degree of flatness of the first lateral surface is lower than a degree of flatness of the second lateral surface.
