Inductor component
An inductor component comprising a laminated body having a magnetic layer containing a resin and a metal magnetic powder contained in the resin; an inductor wiring disposed in the laminated body; and an external terminal exposed from the laminated body. The external terminal includes a metal part and a resin part, and in a cross section of the external terminal, the resin part is enclosed in the metal part.
Inductor component and method for manufacturing same
The inductor component includes: coil portion around which lead wire is wound; lead-out portion at which an end portion of the lead wire is led out; connection line portion to which the lead-out portion is connected; outer terminal portion integrally formed with the connection line portion; and mold body which contains a magnetic material and in which the coil portion and the connection line portion are embedded. The connection line portion has a shape elongating along the lead-out portion, and includes a pair of first bonding pieces between the coil portion and terminal of the lead-out portion, the pair of first bonding pieces elongating from both sides of the connection line portion in mutually opposite directions. The pair of first bonding pieces has distal end sides each folded toward a part of the lead-out portion on the opposite side from the connection line portion.
Apparatus, system, and method for increased current distribution on high-density circuit boards
The disclosed current-distribution inductor may include (1) a magnetic core and (2) a conductor electrically coupled between a power source and an electrical component of a circuit board, wherein the conductor comprises (A) a bend that passes through the magnetic core and (B) a flying lead that extends from the bend to the electrical component of the circuit board and runs parallel with the circuit board. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
COIL COMPONENT
A coil component includes: an element body including a main surface; a pair of external electrodes disposed on the main surface; and a coil including a coil part positioned in the element body and a pair of connecting parts exposed from the element body and each connected to a corresponding external electrode of the pair of external electrodes. Each of the pair of external electrodes includes a first surface opposing the main surface and a second surface opposing the first surface. Each of the pair of connecting parts includes a first part coupled to the second surface of the corresponding external electrode and a second part continuous with the first part and an end of the coil part.
Power inductor
Provided is a power inductor. The power inductor includes a body including metal powder and an insulation material, at least one base provided in the body, at least one coil pattern disposed on at least one surface of the base, and an external electrode disposed on each of at least two side surfaces of the body. At least a portion of the external electrode is made of the same material as the coil pattern.
Stranded wire contact for an electrical device and method for producing a stranded wire contact
An electrical device having a stranded wire contact. The device includes a stranded wire with individual wires and a contact piece for electrical contacting of the stranded wire. The stranded wire contact is produced by thermal diffusion bonding.
Coil component
A coil component includes a drum core and first and second wires. The first wire includes a first extending portion. The second wire includes a third extending portion. The first and third extending portions are not in contact with each other. Each of the first and second wires includes a coat including a first region and a second region. The coat in the first and third extending portions is the second region at least in part. The coat is the first region at a contacting point where the first and second wires are in contact for the first time from a first flange portion in the drum core.
Ignition coil for internal combustion engine
An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine is provided. The ignition coil includes: a primary coil and a secondary coil magnetically coupled to each other; a second spool which the secondary coil is wound around; and a connection terminal connected to a high voltage side of the secondary coil and supported by a terminal support portion provided at the second spool. The terminal support portion includes an insertion hole portion allowing the connection terminal to be inserted in an insertion direction as a coil radial direction. The connection terminal includes a protrusion protruding outside the connection terminal in a direction orthogonally crossing the insertion direction. The protrusion is engaged to the insertion hole portion from inward in the coil radial direction.
Coil device
A coil device has a core including a winding core portion and a flange portion formed on an X-axis-direction end portion of the winding core portion, a coil portion formed by wires being wound around the winding core portion, and terminal electrodes provided on the flange portion. Leadout portions of the wires are respectively connected to the terminal electrodes. A main protuberance having a protuberating shape is formed on an upper surface of the flange portion. The first and second leadout portions of the wires are connected to the first and second terminal electrodes outside the main protuberance in the X-axis direction.
