An inductive device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The inductive device includes a magnetic base, a coil structure, and a package structure. The magnetic base includes a bottom plate, a core column, and a lateral wall defining a positioning trench. The coil structure includes a coil body, a first extending section, and a second extending section. The coil body disposed in the positioning trench surrounds the core column. The first extending section includes a first bent portion and a first terminal portion connected at a first connecting point. The second extending section includes a second bent portion and a second terminal portion connected at a second connecting point. A shortest distance between a first imaginary connection line defined between the first and second connecting points and a central axis of the core column is less than a minimum outer radius of the coil body.

COIL COMPONENT

In a coil component, a first end of a wire is connected to a first terminal electrode. Part of the wire extends in a spiral shape around a peripheral surface of a winding core portion with a center axis as an axis of helix. A region of the wire from a first point at which the wire is connected to the first terminal electrode to a second point at which the wire has been wound through one turn around the center axis is referred to as a first wire range. Within the first wire range, the wire has a first connection point at which the wire is connected to a top plate via adhesive. The wire is separated from the peripheral surface of the winding core portion at the first connection point.

INDUCTOR COMPONENT AND MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF INDUCTOR COMPONENT

An inductor component includes an element body; and a coil on the element body and wound into a spiral shape along an axis. The element body includes a substrate having first and second principal surfaces facing each other. The coil includes at least one first coil wiring on the first principal surface, at least one second coil wiring on the second principal surface, at least one first through wiring penetrating the substrate from the first principal surface to the second principal surface, and at least one second through wiring penetrating the substrate from the first principal surface to the second principal surface, and on a side opposite to the first through wiring with respect to the axis. The first coil wiring, the first through wiring, the second coil wiring, and the second through wiring are connected in sequence to constitute at least a part of the spiral shape.

Disclosed herein is a coil component that includes a magnetic element body, a coil conductor embedded in the magnetic element body and having an end portion exposed from the magnetic element body, and a terminal electrode connected to the end portion of the coil conductor. The terminal electrode includes a conductive resin contacting the end portion of the coil conductor and containing conductive particles and a resin material, and a metal film covering the conductive resin. The conductive resin including a first conductive resin contacting the end portion of the coil conductor, and a second conductive resin contacting the metal film without contacting the end portion of the coil conductor. A specific surface area of the conductive particles contained in the first conductive resin is larger than that of a conductive particles contained in the second conductive resin.

Method for manufacturing electronic component with coil

An inductor includes an air-core coil assembled with a T-shaped core and a composite magnetic material and resin mixture embedding the T-shaped core and the air-core coil. The air-core coil has: a coil member having a coil axis and first and second sides opposite to each other; and first and second leads that are integrally connected to the coil member. The first and second leads respectively have: first and second bent members at the first side; first and second ends at the second side; and first and second bottom extensions respectively connected between the first and second bent members and the first and second ends. The first and second bent members extend in a first direction parallel to the coil axis, the first and second ends extend in a second direction parallel to the coil axis, and the first and second bottom extensions extend perpendicular to the coil axis.
