Continuously transposed conductors and assemblies
A continuously transposed conductor (CTC) cable may include a plurality of electrically insulated strands arranged in first and second stacks with the plurality of strands successively transposed between the first and second stacks. The plurality of strands may include at least one strand having a plurality of component strands that are arranged in third and fourth stacks with the plurality of component strands successively transposed between the third and fourth stacks. Each of the components strands may include a conductor and insulation formed at least partially around the conductor.
COIL COMPONENT
First and second wires form a wire assembly by being wound around a winding core portion together. The wire assembly includes a twisted wire portion, an inner layer portion, an outer layer portion, a plurality of outward transition portions, and an inward transition portion. The outer layer portion includes a first outer layer portion which is connected to one of the outward transition portions extending from an intermediate position of the inner layer portion and connected to the inward transition portion. The inward transition portion extends to an intermediate position of the inner layer portion.
CURRENT DISTRIBUTION AND THERMAL REGULATION IN INDUCTIVE POWER TRANSFER COUPLING STRUCTURES
A magnetic structure for wireless power transfer has a plurality of pieces of magnetically permeable material arranged along a first dimension. Each piece is separated from a neighbouring piece by a gap defining a separation distance which is selected to prevent partial saturation of a region of the structure.
COIL COMPONENT
A coil component comprising a core having a winding core part, and a coil wound around the winding core part and including a plurality of wires. The coil includes a twisted wire portion in which the plurality of wires is twisted together. The twisted wire portion includes a bank region including a first layer wound multiple turns continuously around the winding core part and a second layer wound on the first layer continuously from the first layer. The bank region is sparsely wound with the number of turns of the second layer reduced by two or more as compared to the number of turns of the first layer.
Spiraling electric wire bundles for loss reduction
The electric wire bundles includes a first reference axial line and a second reference axial line which are spaced apart from each other and fixed and arranged in parallel with each other, and a first wire and a second wire which are wound in a spiral pattern on the first and second reference axial lines in the first rotating direction or the second rotating direction, wherein the first wire and the second wire intersect at a central axis between the first reference axial line and the second reference axial line.
Differential mode filter
Disclosed herein is a differential mode filter including a core including a winding core part, a first wire wound around the winding core part in a first winding direction, and a second wire wound around the winding core part in a second winding direction opposite to the first winding direction. The winding core part includes first and second winding surfaces. A first crossing angle between the first and second wires that cross a plurality of times on the first winding surface is smaller than that a second crossing angle between the first and second wires that cross a plurality of times on the second winding surface.
COMMON-MODE CHOKE COIL
A common-mode choke coil is configured such that in one turn of a stranded portion, a number of times a first wire is disposed outside a second wire on a first side surface of a core is equal to a number of times the second wire is disposed outside the first wire on a second side surface that is opposite to the first side surface. Also, a number of times the first wire is disposed outside the second wire on a top surface of the core is equal to a number of times the second wire is disposed outside the first wire on a bottom surface that is opposite to the top surface.
Winding-type coil component
A winding-type coil component includes a first wire and a second wire having a twisted wire portion where the first wire and the second wire are twisted together. Switching positions of the first wire and the second wire in the twisted wire portion are shifted in a circumferential direction of a winding core portion every turn.
TRANSFORMER DEVICE FOR A CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRICALLY CHARGING VEHICLES WITH AT LEAST TWO CHARGING POINTS
A transformer device for a charging station for electrically charging vehicles with at least two charging points, having an input connection for electrical connection to an electrical power source, also having a primary winding and at least one secondary winding for each charging point. The secondary windings are DC isolated from one another and each have at least one winding section which is connected electrically in parallel. Adjacent winding sections of at least one secondary winding overlap one another at least partially in an axial direction or radial direction.
Transformers with alternately radially disposed first and second conductors
A transformer may comprise a winding wrapped around a magnetic core, the winding having at least one winding portion extending between the magnetic core and the exterior of the winding in radial direction. The winding may comprise at least a first conductor and at least a second conductor, arranged radially adjacent to each other in each winding portion with the interposition of an insulating layer, wherein the first conductor is arranged radially inwardly with respect to the second conductor for part of each winding portion length, and radially outwardly with respect to the second conductor for another part of each winding portion length.
