Tennis net tension system including service let indication feature
Disclosed is system and method for measuring the tension of a tennis net, and, alternatively or in addition, for determining if a service let occurs via the measuring of the net tension. The disclosed embodiments measure a force exerted on the center-strap or the singles stick by the net. In these embodiments, the measured force provides an accurate reflection of the tension of the net.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
Provided is an information processing apparatus including a skill level difference detection unit configured to detect a skill level difference between a first user and a second user on the basis of sensing data regarding the first user and sensing data regarding the second user having a skill level lower than a skill level of the first user, and a presentation unit configured to dynamically change and present, during performance, skill level difference suppression information that reduces the skill level difference to at least one of the first and second users on the basis of the skill level difference detected. The sensing data is acquired through at least performance and the like performed by moving at least a part of a body of the users and other performance performed in the past with respect to the performance.
System for performing motor activity
Disclosed is a system for performing motor activity, including a plurality of modular devices, each modular device including a unit for generating at least one sensory stimulus, a generation unit activation unit and a mechanism for detecting a human reaction to the stimuli, there being provided an external control unit intended to generate commands for the activation unit of each modular device. The external control unit includes a unit for measuring the parameters acquired by one or more sensors associated with the body of at least one person.
Method and system for treating patients via telemedicine using sensor data from rehabilitation or exercise equipment
A system includes a treatment device configured to be manipulated by a user while the user performs a treatment plan and a patient interface associated with the treatment device. The system also includes a computing device configured to: receive treatment data pertaining to the user who uses the treatment device to perform the treatment plan; write to an associated memory, for access at a computing device of a healthcare provider, treatment information; communicate with an interface, at the computing device of the healthcare provider; and modify at least one of the at least one aspect and any other aspect of the treatment plan in response to receiving treatment plan input including at least one modification to the at least one of the at least one aspect and any other aspect of the treatment plan.
Weight Elevation Systems, Methods, and Devices
Systems, devices, and methods for elevating weights are disclosed. A lifting bar rotates about a rotating joint attached to a vertical support. As the system is engaged, the lifting rotates from a downward position parallel to the vertical support to a horizontal position, a hook on the lifting bar engaging the weight and lifting it.
TRAINING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A method can include projecting one or more objects along one or more pre-determined trajectories toward a target zone, with each having a diameter less than a diameter of a regulation table tennis ball, the trainee attempting to prevent the one or more objects from entering the target zone and scoring the ability of the trainee. A method can include displaying a first video to a trainee that explains setup for a delivery device, setting up the delivery device based on the first video, projecting an object along a pre-determined trajectory toward a target zone proximate the trainee, wherein the object has a diameter that is less than a diameter of a regulation table tennis ball, and scoring an ability of the trainee to interact with the object at the target zone.
TELEMEDICINE FOR ORTHOPEDIC TREATMENT
A computer-implemented system includes an assistant interface for providing remote medical assistance to aid a patient in performing various aspects of a rehabilitation regimen for a body part comprising a joint, a bone, or a muscle group. The assistant interface is configured to communicate, via a network connection, a telemedicine signal with the patient interface. The telemedicine signal is configured to control the patient interface and/or a treatment apparatus configured to be manipulated by the patient to perform the rehabilitation regimen. The patient interface and the treatment apparatus are at a patient location geographically separate from a location of the assistant interface. The telemedicine signal includes one or more of an audio signal, an audiovisual signal, an interface control signal for controlling a function of the patient interface, and/or an apparatus control signal for changing an operating parameter of the treatment apparatus.
SYSTEMS FOR DYNAMIC RESISTANCE TRAINING
Systems and methods for dynamic resistance training are provided that include the use of a dynamic force module. The dynamic force module includes an actuator and controller adapted to control the actuator according to a force profile that specifies the relationship between an operational parameter of the actuator and a measured parameter associated with a user performing an exercise. The dynamic force module is also capable of communicating with a broader network system to facilitate storing and distribution of force profiles and user profile information. The network system further includes features for, among other things, generating and managing force profiles, uploading multimedia content, and tracking user progress.
STRENGTH TRAINING AND EXERCISE PLATFORM
An exercise device includes a base defining an inner volume and a top supported by the base, the top defining an aperture. The exercise device further includes a force sensor configured to measure force on the top and a motor disposed within the base and below the top, the motor including a cable extendable through the aperture. The exercise deice further includes a controller communicatively coupled to each of the force sensor and the motor. The controller is adapted to actuate the motor in response to forces applied to the top as measured by the force sensor. The controller may also actuate the motor in response to one or more additional parameters related to the speed or force with which the cable is manipulated (e.g., pulled by a user).
COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED QUESTIONNAIRE FOR ORTHOPEDIC TREATMENT
A treatment apparatus includes a machine configured to be manipulated by a patient to perform a regimen for rehabilitation and one or more internal sensors configured to generate data indicating performance of the regimen by the patient. The machine is configured to receive at least one of a first input from a clinician interface and a second input from a patient interface. The first input corresponds to a prompt, presented on the clinician interface, to modify the regimen based on the data indicating performance of the regimen and the second input corresponds to at least one response to a plurality of questions, presented on the patient interface, pertaining to a current or past physical condition of the patient. The machine is further configured, responsive to the at least one of the first input and the second input, to selectively stop or prevent operation of the machine by the patient.
