METHOD AND DEVICE WITH EXERCISE ASSISTANCE
An exercise assist method includes receiving a user input signal comprising exercise setting information from an external device; measuring, based on the user input signal, a joint angle of a hip joint of a user wearing an exercise assist device configured to assist a user in performing a leg movement; and controlling torque of the exercise assist device to be applied to a leg of the user based on the measured joint angle and the exercise setting information.
MODULAR EXERCISE MACHINE
Commands are received from an exercise actuator via a control interface. Collaborative information about an exercise session is received via a software interface. A force from a central electromagnetic resistance unit is provided in response to the control interface and the software interface via a resistance mechanical interface.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TREATING PATIENTS VIA TELEMEDICINE USING SENSOR DATA FROM REHABILITATION OR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
A system includes a treatment device configured to be manipulated by a user while the user performs a treatment plan and a patient interface associated with the treatment device. The system also includes a computing device configured to: receive treatment data pertaining to the user who uses the treatment device to perform the treatment plan; write to an associated memory, for access at a computing device of a healthcare provider, treatment information; communicate with an interface, at the computing device of the healthcare provider; and modify at least one of the at least one aspect and any other aspect of the treatment plan in response to receiving treatment plan input including at least one modification to the at least one of the at least one aspect and any other aspect of the treatment plan.
BALL RETRIEVAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A remote-controlled retriever for collecting a ball on a sports playing surface and for controllably releasing the ball includes a front end ball collector having two spaced-apart blades defining a ball collection space. Each blade includes a passive or an active detent for retaining the collected ball in the collection space until a programmed or manually-directed release toward a target location such as a tennis baseline. The retriever includes a processor-controller for controlling and directing the retriever during a retrieval session.
Sports match refereeing system
A system for refereeing a sports match including a portable processing device for compiling data associated with the sports match and eyeglasses including data display means for displaying the data associated with the sports match to a wearer of the eyeglasses.
Treadmill, control method and detection module for the same
A treadmill includes a base including two rest zones and a running zone arranged between the two rest zones; a running track disposed in the running zone of the base enabling a user to exercise thereon; and a detection module. The detection module includes a light emitter emitting light to cover the two rest zones and the running zone, and at least one light sensor detecting a position and a speed of the user according to a reflected light from the user.
INDOOR TRAINING BICYCLE DEVICE
An indoor, stationary, bicycle training device that provides advantages over conventional designs of exercise bicycles is provided. The stationary bicycle may include a tilting/pivoting mechanism to orient the indoor bicycle to simulate descending or climbing. The indoor bicycle may include flexible and resilient frame elements to support the indoor training device to move side-to-side under some riding situations thereby simulating the side-to-side swaying motion of an outdoor bicycle under the same riding situations. The indoor bicycle may include several combinations of frame adjustments to provide configurable dimensions of the indoor bicycle to adjust the frame to properly fit the rider, which may be adjusted based on corresponding dimensions of a user's outdoor bicycle. Still other aspects of the stationary bicycle device may aid in creating an outdoor feeling while using the device.

REACTIVE PROTOCOLS FOR ORTHOPEDIC TREATMENT
A computer-implemented system for managing a treatment plan includes a clinician interface to configure various aspects of a treatment plan. The treatment plan includes one or more treatment protocols, and each treatment protocol includes one or more sessions. Each session comprises several session periods, with each of the session periods including a particular activity for treating the body part of the patient. The clinician interface includes a patient profile display presenting historical data regarding performance of the treatment plan, and a protocol management display presenting controls for modifying a treatment protocol within the treatment plan. A treatment apparatus, such as a stationary bicycle, is used by the patient to perform the treatment protocol. A patient interface, such as a tablet computer, communicates information to the patient and receives feedback from the patient. A server stores data and coordinates operation of the system.
