ELECTRIC DEVICE WITH PRESSING PLATES FOR CLAMPING A MAGNETIZABLE CORE
An electric device, for example a track transformer, connects to a high-voltage line. The electric device has a magnetizable core, at least one winding which is arranged in the vicinity of the core, and a housing which is filled with an insulating fluid and in which at least one winding is arranged. The core is arranged at least partly outside of the housing. In order to allow a stable mounting of a core formed of two halves, the core is arranged completely between two opposing pressing plates, between which tension elements for clamping the core extend.
TANK FOR LIQUID-FILLED SHELL TRANSFORMERS OR SHELL REACTORS
A tank for a liquid-filled shell transformer or shell reactor is disclosed. It comprises a lower tank portion with a bottom plate and side walls, and an upper tank portion with side walls. The upper and lower tank portions are joined together along a substantially horizontal perimetric joining line and define an internal space for housing an active part of the shell transformer or shell reactor and an insulating liquid. The tank further comprises a reinforcing cincture surrounding and joined to the side walls of the lower tank portion and the upper side walls of the upper tank portion and forming a sealed chamber enclosing the perimetric joining line between the lower tank portion and the upper tank portion. A shell transformer or reactor provided with such a tank is also disclosed, as well as a method for assembling a shell transformer or reactor.
Gas-insulated electrical apparatus, in particular gas-insulated transformer or reactor
The present invention relates to gas-insulated electrical apparatuses, in particular gas-insulated transformers or reactors, comprising a housing enclosing an interior space, in which an electrical component comprising a winding is arranged, at least a portion of the interior space defining an insulation space which is filled with an insulation fluid electrically insulating at least a part of the electrical component from the housing. According to the invention, the electrical apparatus further comprises a cooling element comprising a condenser, an evaporator and a cooling fluid to be circulated between the condenser and the evaporator. The evaporator is designed such that at least a part of the electric component is immersed in the cooling fluid in its liquid state, thus being in direct contact with the cooling fluid.
INDUCTOR
An inductor includes a coil including a winding section and extended sections, a body containing the coil and having a bottom surface and end surfaces adjacent to the bottom surface and opposed to each other, and outer electrodes on at least the bottom surface and connected to the extended sections. The winding-axis direction of the coil intersects with the bottom surface. The conductor has a cross section with a rectangular shape defined by thickness and width and has first surfaces defined by its extending direction and the thickness direction and second surfaces defined by the extending direction and the width direction. The winding section is spirally wound such that the second surfaces are on an outer side and on an inner side, respectively, and is wound in two tiers connected in their innermost locations, and both ends are in outermost locations in the tiers, respectively.
TRANSFORMER
The present disclosure relates to a transformer. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a transformer includes a case; a winding portion and an iron core portion, provided in the case; an insulating fluid provided in the case; and a reinforcing portion provided outside the case, and surrounding the case, wherein the reinforcing portion is made of a second material having a yield strength higher than a yield strength of a first material constituting the case, to pressurize the case and prevent expansion of the case.
USE OF 1-CHLORO-2,3,3,3-TETRAFLUOROPROPENE FOR ISOLATING OR EXTINGUISHING ELECTRIC ARCS
The use of a gas as a medium for electrically isolating and/or extinguishing electric arcs, the gas including 1-chloro-2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene. Also, an electrical device including a sealed chamber containing electrical components and a gas for electrically isolating and/or extinguishing electric arcs, in which the gas includes 1-chloro-2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene. The gas may be only 1-chloro-2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene.
Method of Diagnosing Oil-Immersed Electrical Apparatus
The present invention is related to a method of diagnosing an oil-immersed electrical apparatus by an assessment of a state of deterioration of the oil-immersed electrical apparatus, in which the oil-immersed electrical apparatus includes an insulating oil and an insulating paper and the insulating paper contains an amine compound. This method includes performing a quantitative analysis of a marker substance contained in the insulating oil and assessing a state of deterioration of the oil-immersed electrical apparatus based on a quantified value of the marker substance obtained by the quantitative analysis. The marker substance is a degradation product of cellulose, and this degradation product of cellulose does not chemically react with a deterioration product of the amine compound.
Igniter assembly with improved insulation and method of insulating the igniter assembly
An igniter assembly comprising an ignition coil assembly connected to a firing end assembly by an extension, with a valve assembly disposed in a pressure chamber of the extension, is provided. The valve assembly includes a valve stem biased toward the ignition coil assembly by a spring to seal the pressure chamber. The valve assembly is used to evacuate contents from the pressure chamber by pressing the valve stem toward the spring and allowing contents of the pressure chamber to travel through and past the valve stem and out of the pressure chamber. The valve assembly is also used to fill the pressure chamber with an insulating medium by pressing the valve stem toward the spring and allowing the insulating medium to travel through and past the valve stem and into the pressure chamber after evacuating the contents out of the pressure chamber.
DIELECTRIC FLUID COMPRISING FATTY ACID ESTERS
The invention relates to the use of a composition comprising a mixture of vegetable oil fatty acid esters as a dielectric fluid in an electrical apparatus.
Three-phase reactor
A three-phase reactor according to an embodiment includes a first plate iron core and a second plate iron core disposed oppositely to each other; a plurality of cylindrical iron cores disposed between the first plate iron core and the second plate iron core orthogonally to the first plate iron core and the second plate iron core, the iron cores being disposed rotationally symmetrically with respect to an axis equidistant from central axes of the iron cores, as a rotation axis; and a plurality of coils each wound on each of the iron cores.
