The insulation space includes a dielectric insulation medium that surrounds the current-conducting component. This insulation medium includes a) at least one organofluorine compound selected from the group consisting of fluoroketones, fluoronitriles, and mixtures thereof and b) a carrier gas comprising at least one component selected from the group consisting of air, an air component, CO.sub.2, or a mixture of these components. The device includes at least one gas seal for sealing of the at least one insulation space from a further space. The gas seal includes butyl rubber as seal material.
Liquid containment device for bushing in liquid filled transformer
A liquid containment device is provided for a liquid filled transformer having a tank and a bushing attached to a surface of the tank, the bushing including a terminal having a terminal head including a terminal head opening and a porcelain bushing. A terminal head attachment is attached to the terminal head of the bushing. A housing is provided having an open end, a closed end and a contact pole opening formed on the closed end, the housing encapsulating the bushing and the terminal head attachment. A contact pole is attached to the terminal head attachment and extends through the contact pole opening of the housing. A contact is attached to the contact pole and a housing fastener is fastened on the contact pole to press the housing onto the surface of the tank.
PLUGGABLE HIGH-VOLTAGE BUSHING AND HIGH-VOLTAGE INSTALLATION HAVING THE PLUGGABLE HIGH-VOLTAGE BUSHING
A high-voltage bushing can be plugged into a bushing socket of an electrical device of a high-voltage installation. The high-voltage bushing has an internal conductor, an insulating body which at least partly encloses the internal conductor, and a plug-in section for plugging the high-voltage bushing into the bushing socket. A heat pipe is provided in the internal conductor. The heat pipe is at least partly filled with a vaporizable cooling liquid and the heat pipe extends into the plug-in section. A high-voltage installation having the high-voltage bushing is also provided.
THREE-PHASE REACTOR
A three-phase reactor according to an embodiment includes a first plate iron core and a second plate iron core disposed oppositely to each other; a plurality of cylindrical iron cores disposed between the first plate iron core and the second plate iron core orthogonally to the first plate iron core and the second plate iron core, the iron cores being disposed rotationally symmetrically with respect to an axis equidistant from central axes of the iron cores, as a rotation axis; and a plurality of coils each wound on each of the iron cores.
Microbial oils with lowered pour points, dielectric fluids produced therefrom, and related methods
Methods and compositions for the production of dielectric fluids from lipids produced by microorganisms are provided, including oil-bearing microorganisms and methods of low cost cultivation of such microorganisms. Microalgal cells containing exogenous genes encoding, for example, a sucrose transporter, a sucrose invertase, a fructokinase, a polysaccharide-degrading enzyme, a lipid pathway modification enzyme, a fatty acyl-ACP thioesterase, a desaturase, a fatty acyl-CoA/aldehyde reductase, and/or an acyl carrier protein are useful in manufacturing dielectric fluids.
LOAD CHANGEOVER SWITCH FOR AN ON-LOAD TAP CHANGER AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LOAD CHANGEOVER SWITCH
A diverter switch, which is for an on-load tap-changer, includes a housing; and a carrier. The carrier has elements configured to carry out a diverter switch operation. The carrier and the elements are at least partly encapsulated in the housing.
