Static apparatus

A static apparatus is provided in which a partial discharge, if occurred in a winding end portion, is unlikely to lead to insulation breakdown. The windings and core of a static apparatus are housed in a tank filled with coolant. The winding is fixed by upper and lower parts supporting winding. A continuous coolant duct is formed in a section embracing the winding and the upper and lower parts supporting winding. A coolant duct from the wiring, extending through the upper or lower parts supporting winding and connected with the coolant space is configured in a structure in which toroidal ducts in multiple tiers are connected in a vertical direction of the winding. Connecting holes of one toroidal duct and of its next toroidal duct are staggered with respect to each other and spaced at intervals which are longer than the width of the toroidal ducts.

SPACER ELEMENT FOR A WINDING, KIT, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A WINDING AND WINDING

According to an embodiment, the spacer element for a winding of an electric device includes at least one connection member and a plurality of ribs. The ribs are connected to the connection member and are spaced from each other pairwise. The spacer element is arrangeable between two successive winding units of the winding during manufacturing of the winding. Each two adjacent ribs delimit a flow channel for a cooling fluid, said flow channel extends between and along the two adjacent ribs.

Polarizer, display substrate, display panel having the same and method of manufacturing the same

A display panel includes a light blocking pattern and a polarizer. The light blocking pattern is disposed on a base substrate. A plurality of opening areas is defined based on the light blocking pattern. The polarizer includes a plurality of linear patterns spaced apart from each other. The plurality of opening areas includes a color area transmitting color light and a white area transmitting white light. The polarizer overlaps the color area and the white area.

There is described a central column for a toroidal field coil of a tokamak plasma chamber. The central column comprises a support member extending vertically along a central axis of the central column made from material with high compressive strength, and current carrying elements located radially outward of the support member. The support member is in structural contact with the current carrying elements so as to support them radially against compressive Lorentz stress.
