A computer-implemented system may include a stair-climbing machine configured to be manipulated by a user while the user performs a treatment plan, an interface comprising a display configured to present information associated with the treatment plan, and processing structure configured to receive, from one or more data sources, information associated with the user, wherein the information comprises one or more risk factors associated with a cardiac-related event; generate, using one or more trained machine learning models, the treatment plan for the user, wherein the treatment plan is generated based on the information associated with the user, and the treatment plan comprises one or more exercises associated with managing the one or more risk factors in order to reduce a probability that a cardiac intervention will occur; and transmit the treatment plan to cause the stair-climbing machine to implement the one or more exercises.
Therapeutic oxygen breathing apparatus and exercise system
An exercise with oxygen therapy (EWOT) apparatus for rejuvenating oxygen-depleted cell tissue and simulating high altitude oxygen conditions. The EWOT apparatus includes a first cylindrical bladder for providing oxygen-enriched air and a second bladder for providing lower-purity hypoxic air. The first bladder is retained within an open, lightweight rectangular-shaped frame having vertical frame members. An air supply source provides the oxygen-enriched and hypoxic air to the first and second bladders, respectively. A control switch, which can be manually and/or programmed to automatically operate, selectively delivers the oxygen-enriched and/or hypoxic air to a breathing mask worn by a user while exercising on exercise equipment. The first bladder includes a plurality of weights which provide a positive pressure to the air therein. The cylindrical first bladder is attached to the vertical frame members with slidable rings and expands and collapses in a vertical direction when being filled or during use, respectively.
VISUAL AID HITTING TOOL AND METHODOLOGY FOR BASEBALL, SOFTBALL AND OTHER SPORTS
A visualization tool with a gridwork aid to better help ball players visualize aspects of the game in practice. A system, device, technique, apparatus, and kit are envisioned that allow a ball player in practice to better visualize placements and positions for a batter to better hit the ball, whether done alone in the privacy of their home or outside, or with others. Plastic, paper and other non-electronic, electronic and smartphone versions of the present invention are implemented to provide improved tools for personal visualization for developing game skills, and recording the batting sessions.
Rowing machine handle media playback remote control and data collection system
An assembly is provided for incorporating a media playback device remote control into a rowing machine handle, without requiring modification to the handle itself. The user interface on the remote control is configured to enable a user to readily access the controls while using the machine, substantially without interfering with the user's grip on the handle. Moreover, the remote control employs wireless communication to interface with a host media playback device, which in one embodiment, can provide the user real-time data regarding the quality of handle motion.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR TRAINING A SPORTS PLAYER
A training apparatus is disclosed that comprises an obstacle member defining a pass-under area for a sports player to pass a sport-projectile through when in use. The training apparatus comprises a first sensor that is configured to detect the sport-projectile passing through the pass-under area, and a controller that is configured to determine a pass-through direction of the sport-projectile that passes through the pass-under area based on data received from the first sensor. The training apparatus also comprises a lighting fixture indicating an instructed pass-through direction for the sports player to pass the sport-projectile through the pass-under area. A system for training a sports player is described that comprises a plurality of training apparatuses that are remotely configurable to define a training drill for a sports player and to collect training data from execution of the training drill. A method for training a sports player is also disclosed.
Weight Elevation Systems, Methods, and Devices
Systems, devices, and methods for elevating weights are disclosed. A lifting bar rotates about a rotating joint attached to a vertical support. As the system is engaged, the lifting rotates from a downward position parallel to the vertical support to a horizontal position, a hook on the lifting bar engaging the weight and lifting it.
EXERCISE SYSTEM
According to one example, an exercise system includes a vertical housing, a first weight system coupled to a first upper weighted touchpoint, a second weight system coupled to a second upper weighted touchpoint, a third weight system coupled to a first lower weighted touchpoint, and a fourth weight system coupled to a second lower weighted touchpoint. The exercise system further includes a control system that is configured to cause the first weight system to provide weight to the first upper weighted touchpoint independent of each of the second, third, and fourth weight systems, and cause the third weight system to provide weight to the first lower weighted touchpoint independent of each of the first, second, and fourth weight systems. The first upper weighted touchpoint and the first lower weighted touchpoint may allow the user to exercise the first arm and the first leg of the user simultaneously.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USING AI/ML AND TELEMEDICINE FOR INVASIVE SURGICAL TREATMENT TO DETERMINE A CARDIAC TREATMENT PLAN THAT USES AN ELECTROMECHANICAL MACHINE
A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, at a computing device, a first treatment plan designed to treat an invasive surgical-related health issue of a user. The first treatment plan comprises at least two exercise sessions that, based on the invasive surgical-related health issue, enable the user to perform an exercise at different exertion levels. Next, while the user uses the electromechanical machine to perform the first treatment plan, receiving, at the computing device, data from sensors configured to measure the data associated with the invasive surgical-related health issue and transmitting the data. One or more machine learning models are used to generate a second treatment plan. The second treatment plan modifies at least one exertion level, and the modification is based on a standardized measure comprising perceived exertion, the data, and the invasive surgical-related health issue. The method additionally includes receiving the second treatment plan.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING ELLIPTICAL MACHINE TO PERFORM CARDIOVASCULAR REHABILITATION
Systems including an elliptical machine and a processing device. The processing device may be configured to receive, before or while a user operates the elliptical machine, one or more messages pertaining to the user or a use of the elliptical machine by the user. The processing device may be also configured to determine whether the one or more messages were received by the processing device. In response to determining that the one or more messages were not received by the processing device, the processing device may be configured to determine, via one or more machine learning models, one or more actions to perform. The one or more actions may include at least one of initiating a telecommunications transmission, stopping operation of the elliptical machine, and modifying one or more parameters associated with the operation of the elliptical machine.
