The interchangeable mouth shields disclosed herein include a lip-anterior portion and teeth tray that can be releasably coupled together. The lip-anterior portion includes a panel positioned anterior to a lip shield. The panel can be customized to be different shapes and have decorative features. The interchangeable mouth shield includes a vent enabling a user to breathing through the interchangeable mouth shield during use. The teeth tray can be selectively flavored.

A mouthguard according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a teeth engagement portion having a medial surface. An anterior surface is coupled to the teeth engagement portion opposite the medial surface. A first breathing channel extends from the anterior surface to the medial surface. A second breathing channel extends from the anterior surface to the medial surface. A third breathing channel extends from the anterior surface to the medial surface. A first interior wall is disposed between the first breathing channel and the second breathing channel. The first interior wall is configured to be aligned with a first upper incisor of a wearer. A second interior wall is disposed between the second breathing channel and the third breathing channel. The second interior wall is configured to be aligned with a second upper incisor of the wearer.

A device for placing in the mouth designed to be gripped or clenched by the teeth during weight bearing or strenuous exercises. The device is a mouthguard apparatus comprised of a bite-down plate for placing in the mouth which is configured of a food grade material. The bite-down plate has a shape with a general appearance resembling a weightlifting plate. The mouthguard apparatus may be attached to a necklace cord and warm around the neck allowing quick and easy access and removal to the mouth.

A breakaway device for a mouthguard is provided, having a lanyard assembly couplable to a mouthguard assembly. The lanyard assembly includes a mouthguard tether couplable to the mouthguard assembly, and a neck tether that can be worn around a user's neck. The lanyard assembly also includes front and rear breakaway connectors, such that when a tensile force is exerted on the mouthguard tether or the neck tether, one or both of the breakaway connectors detaches before the mouthguard tether or neck tether separates.

The mouthguard is comprised of a U-shaped body and an embossed or extruded design feature extending from a surface of the mouthguard, the design feature and the U-shaped body form a single, monolithic structure. The design feature may be the same color as the mouthguard, or it may be of a different color. The design feature may be a graphic, a text, symbol, shape, logo or any other design. An implementation of a device may be configured to provide a measured vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) and/or mandibular advancement in a subject. The arm is formed of resilient material and operable between an open position for receiving the mouthguard and a closed position for retaining the mouthguard against the helmet. The arm preferably has an elongated concave configuration and includes a second end having a first portion which abuts against the helmet and a second portion for engagement by a finger of a user to displace the arm between the open and closed position.

A water sports nasal guard prevents unwanted contaminated water from entering a user's nostrils. The water sports nasal guard includes a mouth guard, an upper tongue shield, a lower tongue shield, and a nostril shield. The mouth guard allows the user to bite down on the water sports nasal guard, thereby upholding the nostril shield against the nasal passages of the user. The nostril shield presses up against the openings of the user's nasal passages. The mouth guard further includes an arch-shaped body, an upper teeth receptacle, and a lower teeth receptacle. The arch-shaped body positions the upper teeth receptacle and the lower teeth receptacle opposite to each other, both of which accommodate the upper teeth and lower teeth of the user. The upper tongue shield and the lower tongue shield prevent the user's tongue from coming between the teeth of the user and the mouth guard.
