BINDER BASED ON A SOLID MINERAL COMPOUND RICH IN ALKALINE-EARTH METAL OXIDE WITH PHOSPHATE-CONTAINING ACTIVATORS
A hydraulic binder includes at least 70% by weight of a solid mineral compound consisting of at least one mixture of silica, alumina and alkaline-earth metal oxides, the total sum of CaO and MgO representing at least 10% by weight of the solid mineral compound, and an activation system of which at least 30% by weight is a phosphoric acid-derived salt. Construction products can obtained from a mortar composition including such a binder.
ELECTRIC DOUBLE-LAYER CAPACITOR
An electric double-layer capacitor that includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a positive-electrode collector electrode and a positive-electrode polarizable electrode on the positive-electrode collector electrode. The negative electrode includes a negative-electrode collector electrode and a negative-electrode polarizable electrode on the negative-electrode collector electrode. The negative electrode faces the positive electrode. The electrolyte is interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. A separator is provided between the positive-electrode polarizable electrode and the negative-electrode polarizable electrode adjacent to each other. No polarizable electrode is provided on an outer surface of the collector electrode of each one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode positioned outermost in a thickness direction of the electric double-layer capacitor.
CYCLIC PHOSPHONAMIDES AS AN ELECTROLYTE COMPONENT FOR LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES
An electrolyte suitable for use in lithium ion batteries contains 100 parts by weight of aprotic solvent, 1 to 50 parts by weight of lithium-containing conducting salt, 4 to 50 parts by weight of vinylene carbonate, and cyclic phosphonamide of the general formula 1
##STR00001## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 are each hydrocarbyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by fluoro, chloro or silyl groups and which has 1-20 carbon atoms, where two or three of the radicals R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 may be joined to one another, and n has a value of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. The electrolyte is used in a lithium-ion battery which comprises a cathode, an anode, a separator, and the electrolyte.
ELECTRIC DOUBLE-LAYER CAPACITOR
A package electric double-layer capacitor having a first terminal that extends from a package at a first corner of a first cell, which is adjacent to a second cell, on one side in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction. A second terminal extends from the package at the first corner in the first direction and on a side of the first terminal opposite to the second cell. A third terminal extends from the package at a second corner of the second cell, which is adjacent to the first cell and the first corner. A fourth terminal extends from the package at the second corner in the first direction and on a side of the third terminal opposite to the first cell.
Nonaqueous electrolyte solution, and lithium ion secondary battery having the same
The exemplary embodiment has an object to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte solution having a flame retardancy over a long period and having a good capacity maintenance rate. The exemplary embodiment is a nonaqueous electrolyte solution containing a lithium salt, at least one oxo-acid ester derivative of phosphorus selected from compounds represented by a predetermined formula, and at least one disulfonate ester selected from a cyclic disulfonate ester and a linear disulfonate ester represented by the predetermined formulae.
ELECTRODE FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICES, AND ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE
An electrode for an electrochemical device includes porous carbon particles. In a pore distribution of the porous carbon particles, a ratio B/A of an integrated volume B to an integrated volume A ranges from 1 to 1.5, inclusive. The integrated volume A is an integrated volume of pores each having a pore diameter of more than or equal to 1 nm and less than 2 nm. The integrated volume B is an integrated volume of pores each having a pore diameter of more than or equal to 2 nm and less than or equal to 50 nm. A volume-based particle diameter frequency distribution of the porous carbon particles has a first peak and a second peak. A particle diameter corresponding to the second peak is larger than a particle diameter corresponding to the first peak.
