Impact reduction apparel and impact absorbing liner for apparel
An impact absorbing liner apparatus and impact reduction apparel are disclosed. An impact absorbing liner has a size and a configuration, such as multiple extending impact absorbing members, which can be formed and shaped around a part of a wearer's body. The impact absorbing liner is at least partially obscured from external view by apparel worn over the part of the wearer's body. The apparatus further includes a rigid frame connected with the impact absorbing liner and having at least a distal end and a proximal end. The distal end and proximal end each have a connection mechanism to connect together to provide the size and the configuration for the impact absorbing liner, and to conform to the impact reduction apparel.
HOCKEY GOALKEEPER LEG PADS
Hockey goalkeeper leg pads wearable on legs of a hockey goalkeeper to protect the legs, in which the hockey goalkeeper leg pads may be configured to enhance performance, comfort and/or other aspects of goalkeeping of the hockey goalkeeper, including when the hockey goalkeeper leg pads drop onto a playing surface (e.g., ice) to lie substantially horizontally on the playing surface with their front facing play (e.g., as in a butterfly position or otherwise).
Robotic mobility device and control
Robotic mobility assistant exoskeleton with frame members, which are attached adjacent to biological joints, supplements relative movement between skeletal members. Mechanical joint defines a center of relative rotation of frame members about three mutually perpendicular axes with the center of relative rotation of frame members being displaced from the outer surfaces of skeletal members to correspond in position with the center of biological joint. Actuation devices including powered cable springs rotate frame members. Control system executes calibrated user specific posture sequences and activates power. Mechanical joint exhibits cylindrical guide surfaces defining a slidable or rotatable connection of frame members and has a radius intersecting the center of the biological joint. Node control network distributes computing load and reduces communications overhead. Map unit has object recognition system for monitoring environment. Standard posture data derived from rules of ambulation and posture provide positioning control, optimized by energy-timed margins for balance maintenance.
SHIN GUARD SOCK FOR PRACTICING SPORT
A shin guard sock for practicing sport having a sock provided with a pocket-type compartment on the inside, which is open at the top, in correspondence with the tibia, defining a space suitable for inserting a shin guard therein. The sock being produced from a material comprising three protective layers: an internal layer made of a thermoplastic polymer, such as EVA; an external layer made of a polycarbonate; and an external coating made of polyurethane elastomer sprayed onto the polycarbonate, forming an extremely rigid impact surface.
SHIN GUARD WITH SOCK ENGAGING FEATURE
A shin guard includes a protective shell having a convex outer surface and a concave inner surface, a cushioning element abutting the inner surface, and a polymeric texture provided on the outer surface to inhibit the motion of an overlaid textile relative to the protective shell.
METHOD OF PROVIDING DECORATIVE DESIGNS AND STRUCTURAL FEATURES ON AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
The invention relates to footwear and portions thereof having structural features and decorative designs thereon, and related systems and methods for manufacturing same. An exemplary method for providing a feature on a surface of an object includes positioning a laser proximate the surface of the object, directing a laser beam from the laser to the surface of the object to mark or engrave at least a portion of the surface of the object, and moving at least one of the laser and the object to create a pattern on the surface of the object, the pattern providing at least one of an aesthetic and a structural feature on the surface of the object.
ARM PROTECTOR OR OTHER BODY PART PROTECTOR
A protector for protecting an arm or other body part of a wearer, such as a sports player playing lacrosse, hockey, baseball, or another sport. The protector comprises: a base for engaging the wearer's arm or other body part; and a pad member fastened to the base and comprising protective padding. The pad member may be fastened to the base by a narrow fastening zone. This may allow the protector to better fit on the wearer's arm or other body part, reduce resistance to movement of the wearer's arm or other body part, and/or increase breathability or ventilation of the wearer's arm or other body part and the protector itself.
Footwear plate
A method of forming a plate for an article of footwear includes applying a first strand portion to a base layer including positioning adjacent segments of the first strand portion to form a first layer on the base layer. The adjacent segments of the first strand portion having a greater density across a width of the plate between a medial side and a lateral side at a midfoot region of the plate than at a forefoot region of the plate and at a heel region of the plate. The method also includes applying at least one of heat and pressure to the first strand portion and to the base layer to conform the first strand portion and the base layer to a predetermined shape.
NON-COLLISION FOOTBALL AND DATA TRACKING SYSTEM
The invention provides a system for playing a non-collision sport. The system comprises one or more hand devices, a jersey, shoulder pads optionally, and data collection and transfer devices. A server is part of the system and has at least one algorithm that manipulates and interprets the collected data. A data management system is connected in real-time to monitor play of the game and record and analyze player progress during game play.
Strike Detection Equipment
The present invention concerns a hit detection equipment, usable by a fighter and an opponent for martial arts such as taekwondo, karate or boxing, comprising a central device, a valid surface, for example a jersey and/or a helmet, and at least one authorized surface, for example a glove and/or a shoe. Said valid surface comprises at least one conductive surface and said authorized surface comprises two conductive structures insulated from each other, intertwined with each other over the entire said authorized surface, and each connected to an electrical terminal, and configured so that a contact of said authorized surface on a conductive surface creates a short circuit between the two conductive structures.
The present invention also concerns a method for detecting a hit struck by a fighter on an opponent, for martial arts such as taekwondo, karate or boxing, each equipped with an equipment according to the invention.
