Composite plated product and method for producing same
There are provided a composite plated product wherein a composite plating film of a composite material containing carbon particles in a silver layer is formed on a base material and wherein the amount of the carbon particles dropped out of the composite plating film is small, and a method for producing the same. After a composite plating film of a composite material containing carbon particles in a silver layer is formed on a base material (of preferably copper or a copper alloy) by electroplating using a silver-plating solution to which the carbon particles are added, a treatment for removing part of the carbon particles on the surface thereof is carried out.

Rivet-type contact and method for manufacturing the same
A rivet-type contact of the present invention has a head part made of a contact material, and a leg part narrower than the head part in width and configured to be deformed at fixation. The leg part includes a flange part larger than the leg part in diameter, in an end part of the side of the head part, the flange part is embedded in the head part such that a lower end surface of the flange part and a lower end surface of the head part become approximately flat, and a length (l) between an endmost part of the flange part and a starting point of the leg part satisfies l<L with respect to a length (L) between an endmost part of the head part and the starting point of the leg part. Specifically, it is favorable that l satisfies 0.5Ll0.9L with respect to L.
Safety Device for Emergency Shut-Down of an Electric Instantaneous Water Heater
A safety device for emergency shut-down of an electric instantaneous water heater. The safety device includes a contact and a counter contact, which are set up to conduct the current for supplying the instantaneous water heater in a contacted state and to interrupt the power supply of the instantaneous water heater in an open state. Further, the safety device includes a mounting device for mounting the counter contact on a tie rod, wherein the tie rod is set up to release the mounting device and the counter contact 4 from the contact to interrupt a power supply of the instantaneous water heater. The contact of the safety device is implemented as a contact rivet which is integrated directly into a circuit board.
Gas burner arrangement, cooktop and stove
A gas burner arrangement for a hotplate includes at least two gas burners, each gas burner having operably connected thereto a gas valve for regulating a combustion gas flow to the gas burners, and a thermoelement for monitoring a flame of the gas burners. The thermoelement is coupled to the gas valve by an electrical circuit, such that when the flame of the associated gas burner is extinguished, the combustion gas flow to the gas burner is interrupted with the aid of the gas valve. Each electrical circuit includes a mechanically actuatable switch configured to couple or decouple the electrical circuit between the associated thermoelement and the associated gas valve. The mechanically actuatable switch includes a contact element having a noble metal. A shared actuation element controls the mechanically actuatable switches of the electric circuits.
TAPE-SHAPED CONTACT MEMBER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided is a tape-shaped contact member including a tape-shaped contact material. At least one wire-shaped brazing material is bonded to the tape-shaped contact material, at least one projection including the brazing material and protruding from a surface of the contact material is formed in a cross-sectional shape, a diffusion region containing a metal component forming the brazing material is formed along an interface with the brazing material inside the contact material, and the diffusion region has a thickness of 2 ?m or more and 10 ?m or less. A chip-shaped contact component can be obtained by cutting the tape-shaped contact member to an arbitrary length. The present contact component is useful as a constituent member for a switching electrical contact, and capable of adapting to height reduction of the electrical contact. The present invention can also contribute to reduction of occurrence of poor bonding.
Silver nano particle joint used to form composite contact for use in a circuit breaker
A circuit breaker comprises a contact and a line terminal configured that are bound in an assembly using a silver nanoparticles (NpAg) material that is synthesized by reducing a precursor salt in presence of a reducing agent. The contact comprises a silver alloy material having a first surface. The line terminal comprises a non-ferrous material having a second surface such that a plurality of drops of the silver nanoparticles (NpAg) material synthesized using a green chemistry process are applied in an interface between the first surface of the contact and the second surface of the line terminal by performing a resistance projection welding to bind the two components.
Fuse-equipped hermetic terminal
A fuse-equipped hermetic terminal includes: a housing provided with a hollow portion and a pair of through holes located with the hollow portion being interposed therebetween; a conductive pin extending through the housing via the pair of through holes and the hollow portion; and a pair of insulating sealing materials that each hermetically seal a gap between the conductive pin and a corresponding one of the pair of through holes. Each of the conductive pins includes an inner pin, an outer pin, and a fuse element that bridges between the inner pin and the outer pin and that is located in the hollow portion.
