SYSTEMS FOR ACTIVE COUPLING OF AIRBAGS
An airbag deployment system includes a helmet, a torso protection assembly, and an airbag assembly. The airbag assembly is coupled to one of the helmet and the torso protection assembly and includes an airbag, an inflation device configured to inflate the airbag, and a first coupling device. The first coupling device is configured to couple to a second coupling device provided on the other of the helmet and the torso protection assembly upon inflation of the airbag. The coupling resists relative movement between the helmet and the torso protection assembly.

Device Configured to be Worn on or at least Partially around the Neck of a Person to Produce an Intended Physiological Effect
An improved device configured to be worn on or at least partially around the neck of a person and intended to apply a compressive force on the neck of the person to produce an intended physiological effect that is beneficial and/or protective of the person is disclosed. The device comprises a base, a core (or structure) and a cover. The device may be formed as a molded plastic component. The device may be configured to facilitate and/or provide enhanced comfort and convenience for the person wearing the device. The device may be configured to be produced efficiently in commercial volume using developed/improved manufacturing/assembly techniques with selected/commercially-available materials.
SHOULDER PADS WITH HEAD AND NECK PROTECTION
The present invention provides a shoulder pad for use in a contact sport, such as football, hockey or lacrosse. The shoulder pad includes a pair of arch members, each having an upper portion, a front portion depending from the upper portion, and a rear portion depending from the upper portion. The shoulder pad further includes at least one side pad assembly having an epaulet and a shoulder cap, wherein the shoulder cap overlies the wearer's shoulder region and the epaulet overlies both the arch member and the shoulder cap. The epaulet portion extends vertically to protect the head and neck of the wearer.
Smart sport device
An Internet of Thing (IoT) sport device includes a light source; sensors including a camera and a microphone array; a processor coupled to the light source and the sensor; and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor.
HEAD AND NECK PROTECTION APPARATUS
Various protective apparatus are described. One protective apparatus includes a shoulder pad assembly having an opening for a neck of a user, a supporting element affixed to the shoulder pad assembly, the supporting element being configured to extend above the shoulder pad assembly and to encircle a portion of the opening, one or more clips arranged on the surface of the supporting element, and a helmet having one or more first bars that, when engaged within the one or more clips, secure the helmet to the supporting element.
