Printed circuit board mounted contactors
A printed circuit board (PCB)-mounted contactor including a PCB with planar surface, source and load terminals fixed to the PCB, and a contact. The contact is supported by the PCB and is movable between open and closed positions. Movement of the contact is parallel to the planar surface. Electrical assemblies having PCB-mounted contactors and methods of controlling current flow in electrical systems with PCB-mounted contactors are also described.
Selector for on-load tap changer
A selector can be used in an on-load tap changer. The selector includes: a tap selector comprising at least one selector arm; and a change-over selector. The change-over selector is configured to be actuated via at least one of the selector arms of the tap selector.

Contact device and electromagnetic relay
A contact device includes a pair of fixed contacts, a movable contactor, a contactor holder, a movable shaft, and a base. The pair of fixed contacts are aligned in a first direction. The movable contactor comes into or out of contact with the pair of fixed contacts in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The contactor holder holds the movable contactor. The movable shaft moves the contactor holder in the second direction so that the movable contactor comes into or out of contact with the fixed contacts. The base accommodates the fixed contacts, the movable contactor, and the contactor holder. The base has a projection projecting from a position opposing the contactor holder in a third direction orthogonal to both the first and second directions.

Low voltage contact assembly
A low voltage contact assembly including a rotating support having a body adapted to rotate around a rotation axis and supporting at least a first couple of movable contacts that can be coupled to/uncoupled from corresponding first fixed contacts by rotation around said rotation axis. The first couple of movable contacts include a first and a second movable contacts housed in the rotating support. The low voltage assembly further includes a pressure exerting device having a pressing bar operatively coupled to the first and second elongated contact body and transversally placed with respect to the rotation plane of the first and second elongated contact bodies.
CONTROL SYSTEM AND INTERRUPTER SYSTEM
A control system is designed to control an interrupter. The interrupter is started by a startup current to interrupt a main electric circuit. The startup current flows through an auxiliary electric circuit and has a current valve equal to or greater than a predetermined value. The control system includes a driving unit and a driven unit. The driving unit includes an intermediate electrical path to be connected to the main electric circuit. The driven unit is to be connected to the auxiliary electric circuit. When an abnormal current having a current value equal to or greater than a prescribed value flows through the intermediate electrical path, the driving unit uses, as a drive source for driving the driven unit, the abnormal current flowing through the intermediate electrical path. The driven unit supplies the auxiliary electric circuit with the startup current by being driven by the driving unit.
CONTACT LEVER ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH AN ELECTRICAL SWITCH
An electrical switch including: a switch housing; a switch circuit disposed within the switch housing; said switch circuit including a movable contact member mounted on a contact lever and a stationary contact member; the contact lever being configured for operable-interaction with an actuator, said actuator being configured for movement along an actuator movement axis relative to the contact lever between at least one of an OFF position whereby the contact lever is configured for arrangement in to the first configuration whereby the switch circuit is opened, and, an ON position in which the contact lever is configured for arrangement in to the second configuration whereby the switch circuit is closed; a biasing element configured for biasing the contact lever towards the second configuration; so that the switch circuit is closed when the actuator is moved relative to the contact lever in to the ON positions, said biasing element including a first end attached to a first attachment point in connection with a portion of the contact lever and a second end attached to a second attachment point in connection with the switch housing; and an attachment member configured for attachment with the contact lever whereby when attached to the contact lever, said attachment member is configured for operation as the first attachment point in connection with the portion of the contact lever.
Movable contact arm set for switching contactor
A movable contact arm set for a switching contactor includes first and second movable contact arms which respectively carry first and second movable contacts. The first and second movable contact arms respectively include first and second engagement surfaces which are engagable with an actuation to permit displacement of the first and second movable contacts. The first and second engagement surfaces are asymmetric to one another to permit asynchronous displacement of the first and second movable contacts. A switching contactor, movable contact arm for use with a movable contact arm set, and a method of providing a lead-lag contact opening arrangement for a switching contactor are also provided.
Electrical contact system
An electrical contact system includes a pair of static contacts, a rotatable member disposed between the static contacts and rotatable about a rotation axis between a first position and a second position, and a movable contact mounted on and rotated with the rotatable member. A pair of opposite ends of the movable contact are in electrical contact with the static contacts when the rotatable member is rotated to the first position. The ends of the movable contact are separated from the static contacts when the rotatable member is rotated to the second position. The movable contact has a Z-shape and is slidably mounted on the rotatable member. The movable contact slides under a pushing force from a first static contact of the static contacts toward a second static contact of the static contacts to be in electrical contact with the second static contact.
