SWITCH
A switch includes a first fixed terminal, a second fixed terminal, and a slider. The slider includes an energizing movable contact portion and two opening/closing movable contact portions which are separated from each other. In closing operation, the two opening/closing movable contact portions come into contact with the first fixed terminal earlier than the energizing movable contact portion.
SWITCHING SYSTEM
A switching system, in particular of an on-board electrical system of a motor vehicle having a first disc which has a first, a second, a third, and a fourth stationary contact. The second and the third stationary contact, are electrically contacted by a first contact bar of the first disc. The switching system also has a second disc which has a first, a second, a third, and a fourth movable contact. The first and the second movable contact are electrically contacted by a second contact bar of the second disc, and the third and the fourth movable contact are electrically contacted by a third contact bar of the second disc. The second disc is rotationally mounted about a rotational axis relative to the first disc, wherein all the contacts are electrically connected in series in an angular position. A circuit breaker is also provided that includes a switching system.
Power supply switch, power feeding circuit and electric connection box
In a power supply switch which switches plural paths for supply of power from a power source to connected states or disconnected states by fixed contacts provided on the plural paths and a movable contact, the fixed contacts includes a power-source-side fixed contact which connects to the power source, an electricity-storage-element-side fixed contact which connects to an electricity storage element, and an another path side fixed contact which connects to power supply destinations via a another path which are provided so as to be separate from and independent of each other. When the power supply switch is switched to disconnected states, the electricity storage path and the another path are disconnected from each other and a current flow from the electricity storage element to the another path is thereby shut off.
Rotary switch device
A rotary switch device includes a fixed contact point part and a movable contact point part. The movable contact point part is rotated on the fixed contact point part so as to connect and disconnect the fixed contact point part and the movable contact point part. The fixed contact point part and the movable contact point part have contact surfaces which are band shapes and to which corrosion-resistant conductive processing is applied. A transient contact region, in which a contact point is moved from one end portion to the other end portion in a predetermined connection-operation angle from a contact start point with respect to the other of the fixed contact point part and the movable contact point part, is provided on each of the contact surfaces.
ROTARY SWITCH
A rotary switch includes a rotation movable portion, a movable conductor held in the rotation movable portion, a base portion, a power supply terminal held in the base portion, and a plurality of fixed contacts held in the base portion. The fixed contact and the power supply terminal are connected and disconnected via the movable conductor by a rotational operation of the rotation movable portion. The power supply terminal is disposed at a rotation center position of the rotation movable portion. The plurality of fixed contacts are disposed on a plurality of concentric circles having different diameter dimensions around the power supply terminal.
Switch apparatus for connection with a DC circuit
A switch apparatus usable in a DC circuit employs a rotatable shaft having conductors that are removably connected with two or more pairs of contacts that are situated on line conductors and load conductors and that are connected in parallel by the conductors on the shaft. In rotating the shaft to open the switch, one pair of the contacts is electrically disconnected prior to electrical disconnection of the other pair of contacts. Further rotation of the shaft causes the other pair of contact to eventually become disconnected. Electrical arcs thus form only at the air gaps between the other pair of contacts and the conductor. Magnetic field elements in the form of permanent magnets are situated in the vicinity of the air gaps of only the other pair of contacts and apply Lorentz forces to the arcs to extinguish them.
Movable contact of electric switch
A movable contact of a rotary switch, including a pair of contact blades for making an electrical contact to a stationary contact receivable between the contact blades. The movable contact includes a traction member for providing a traction force between the contact blades, wherein the traction member is a unitary piece including two frame portions for framing the pair of contact blades, the traction member including a spring portion for pressing one of the contact blades against the other contact blade, wherein the spring portion is arranged between the two frame portions arranged at a distance from each other.
Single- or multi-pole switching device, in particular for DC applications
The invention relates to a single- or multi-pole switching device, in particular for DC applications, having at least one rotating switching element (2) which is connected to a drive, and also comprising switching contacts (4, 5), connection pieces (7) and connection poles or connection terminals (8) and a housing arrangement which accommodates the abovementioned parts. According to the invention, a movably guided rotary cylinder (2) is formed in the housing arrangement, said rotary cylinder being located in a body which is designed as a rotary cylinder holder (1). The rotary cylinder (2) has at least one contact pin (3) which passes radially or tangentially or eccentrically through the rotary cylinder and has, at its end, a contact piece (4) in each case. Mating contact pieces (5) are arranged in the rotary cylinder holder (1), said mating contact pieces being electrically connected to the connection pieces (7) or connection poles or connection terminals (8). A narrow, arc-influencing gap is present between the rotary cylinder (2) and the rotary cylinder holder (1), wherein, as a result of the movement of the rotary cylinder (2), the electrical connection between the contact pieces (4) and the mating contact pieces (5) can be broken by way of the contact pin (3) and the resulting disconnection arcs (11) enter the air gap subject to an extension and are rapidly extinguished there.
Switch
A switch has a base comprising a flat circular recess formed on an upper surface thereof, a fixed contact disposed in an inner surface of the flat circular recess, a spring body that has a bellows shape in which a reference form unit is repetitively formed, the spring body being annularly disposed in the flat circular recess of the base, an operating body that has a turning unit fitted turnably in the flat circular recess of the base, and an operating projection provided in an inward surface of the turning unit. When the operating body is turned, the operating projection presses an end portion of the spring body to compress the spring body, which allows a contact to be switched.
Switch assembly and method of operating same
A switch assembly and method of operation comprises a housing having top and bottom ends spaced about a longitudinal axis and a selectively movable knob coupled to a plunger arrangement having a shaft that extends from inside the housing to couple to the knob. The switch assembly also comprises a printed circuit board having at least one wiper for engaging a contact extending from the plunger arrangement. A step shaft projects from the shaft of the plunger arrangement such that when a maintained mode of operation is desired by the switch assembly, the step shaft engages a retaining assembly formed by a portion of the housing, and when a momentary mode of operation is desired by the switch assembly the step shaft is positioned such that is free from engaging the retaining assembly.
