SWITCH BLOCKING DEVICE
A switch blocking device that is insertable into an open switch that prevents the switch from being closed, the device being sized and shaped to fit securely in a space between an open blade of the switch and fixed electrical contacts of the switch, the device having a handle that enables easy insertion and removal while also covering the live electrical blade.
FUSIBLE SAFETY DISCONNECT IN SOLID STATE CIRCUIT BREAKERS AND COMBINATION MOTOR STARTERS
An isolation disconnect assembly for an insulated gate bipolar transistor assembly is provided. The isolation disconnect assembly includes a conductor assembly and a clinch joint magnetic actuator.
Switch
A switch includes a housing, a common stationary contact terminal, an individual stationary contact terminal, and a plunger including a moving contact unit. The moving contact unit includes a body, a first arm, a second arm, and a third arm extending from the body in a direction intersecting with a parallel direction in which the common stationary contact terminal and the individual stationary contact terminal are arranged parallel to each other, electrically interconnected with each other, and are spaced apart from one another in the parallel direction, a first moving contact included in the first arm, a second moving contact included in the second arm, and a third moving contact included in the third arm.
LOW PROFILE BLOW-ON FORCE AUTOMATIC SWITCH
Systems of automatic transfer switches (ATS) are disclosed herein. One apparatus includes at least two automatic transfer switches coupled together. Each automatic transfer switches has contacts to couple a power source to a load. For each switch, an electromagnetic force biasing the contacts to each other is present if an electrical current flows through the switch. The automatic transfer switches may be on separate cassettes or on a single cassette. The power source of each switch may be the same or different.
Plug-in contact assembly suitable for automatic transfer switch
A plug-in contact assembly suitable for automatic transfer switches includes a contact holder, two moving contact pieces disposed apart from each other, a moving contact piece bracket and a biasing spring; the contact holder holds the moving contact piece bracket and the biasing spring therein; and the two moving contact pieces disposed apart from each other are held in place relative to the contact holder under the joint action of the biasing spring and the moving contact piece bracket; characterized in that, two ends of each moving contact piece are each provided with a moving contact thereon by means of welding.
Metal-Graphene Coated Electrical Contact
An electrical contact having a substrate of an electrically conductive non-silver material, and an electrically conductive metal-graphene composite coating directly on a surface of the substrate.
Electrical Breaking Module Equipped With A Magnetic Blow-Out Device And Electrical Breaking Apparatus Comprising Such A Module
An electrical breaking module includes a non-magnetic, electrically insulating casing housing, a fixed contact and a movable contact defining between them a breaking zone in which an electric arc extends at its origin when the electrical circuit is opened. A magnetic blow-out device is provided with at least one magnetic field source arranged in a breaking chamber, opposite the breaking zone to move and stretch the electric arc in a direction substantially perpendicular to the breaking plane towards the housing. The magnetic blow-out device also includes a non-magnetic, electrically insulating deflector, arranged in the breaking chamber to occupy most of the space between the breaking zone and the casing, so as to create at least one arc confinement zone, in which the electric arc when magnetically blown is deflected and constrained to promote its cooling and extinction.
SWITCH
A highly durable, quiet switch includes a housing, a stationary contact terminal including a fixed portion, a moving contact terminal, a moving contact unit including a body, a moving portion, and an urging member and connected to the moving contact terminal, an operating unit, a first elastic unit that comes in contact with the moving contact unit and elastically deforms when the moving portion moves away from the fixed portion, and a second elastic unit including a contact point between the moving portion and the fixed portion facing the moving portion to come in contact with the moving portion. The second elastic unit elastically deforms and electrically connects the stationary and moving contact terminals when the moving portion moves toward the fixed portion and comes in contact with the contact point.
