Switch

In a switch in which one end portion of a blade is pivotally attached to a fixed contactor and another end portion of the blade is brought into pressure contact with a fixed contactor by rotational operation of the blade, at least one slit is provided in each of a conductive contact surface, with respect to the fixed contactor, of the one end portion of the blade and a conductive contact surface, with respect to the fixed contactor, of the other end portion of the blade, so as to divide each of the conductive contact surfaces, thereby achieving multi-point contact on each of the conductive contact surfaces, and a thickness of a contact-pressure spring fixing portion of the blade at which a contact-pressure spring for bringing the other end portion into pressure contact with the fixed contactor is made smaller than that of the other end portion.

A residual load disconnector switch (1) includes a rotary switch body (23), which includes a contact blade (24, 25, 26, 27), that is rotatable about an axis (A) and is arranged between a feed line connection (20) and a discharge line connection (21), and includes end-side contact surfaces (28, 29, 30, 31) protruding in a radial direction. The contact surfaces, in a closed rotary position (S1) of the rotary switch body (23), are in touching contact with the feed line connection (20) and with the discharge line connection (21). In an open rotary position (S2) of the rotary switch body (23), the contact surfaces are each spaced with respect to the feed line connection (20) and with the discharge line connection (21). The residual load disconnector switch (1) is rotationally limited in one rotational direction for performing switching movements and can be actuated unidirectionally and cyclically.

Electrical switch

The electrical switch includes a first and a second fixed contact, and a movable knife contact including at least one longitudinal pair of blades being flexibly connected to each other, wherein the blades form, in a switching event, contact with contact portions of the first and/or the second fixed contact. Opposite surfaces of the contact portions of the first and the second fixed contact include a roughened area and the inner surface of each blade includes a protruded area or opposite surfaces of the contact portions of the first and the second fixed contact include a protruded area and the inner surface of each blade includes a roughened area.

Process and apparatus for producing powder particles by atomization of a feed material in the form of an elongated member

The present disclosure relates to a process and an apparatus for producing powder particles by atomization of a feed material in the form of an elongated member such as a wire, a rod or a filled tube. The feed material is introduced in a plasma torch. A forward portion of the feed material is moved from the plasma torch into an atomization nozzle of the plasma torch. A forward end of the feed material is surface melted by exposure to one or more plasma jets formed in the atomization nozzle. The one or more plasma jets being includes an annular plasma jet, a plurality of converging plasma jets, or a combination of an annular plasma jet with a plurality of converging plasma jets. Powder particles obtained using the process and apparatus are also described.

HIGH VOLTAGE DISCONNECTOR

A high voltage disconnection unit includes a fixed contact assembly having at least a first fixed main contact and a first fixed auxiliary contact, a movable contact assembly having at least a first movable main contact and a first movable auxiliary contact that rotate with respect to the first fixed main contact and first fixed auxiliary contact from a contacts closed position to a contacts open position. During an opening operation of the disconnection unit the separation of the first movable main contact from the first fixed main contact takes place before the separation of the first movable auxiliary contact from the first fixed auxiliary contact. The relative opening speed V1 between the first movable auxiliary contact and the first fixed auxiliary contact is greater than the relative opening speed V2 between the first movable main contact and the first fixed main contact.
