ATHLETIC SUPPORT GLOVE
20170239553 · 2017-08-24 ·

A glove formed from a stretchable material for the purpose of increasing grip strength and protecting and supporting the wearers hand. The glove has a first finger stall, a second finger stall, and a thumb aperture, and is formed from a stretchable material that keeps the fingers in the first finger stall and the second finger stall tightly compressed to protect each from injury, and to increase the strength of two fingers being tightly compressed together. The thumb extends out of the thumb aperture and is free to move independently of the first finger stall and the second finger stall in order to allow the thumb freedom of movement and not be locked together with either of the finger stalls.

A training or exercise apparatus may have a base and an adjacent movable armature or frame that carries a riding member, or shuttle, or carrier. The carrier has an engagement interface with an element of sporting or exercise equipment. The sporting or exercise equipment is engaged by the user, typically by being grasped. The apparatus defines a physical or virtual schedule describing an arc for a swing in the particular activity. The apparatus may include a manual or electronic means of imposing resistance to the motion. This resistance may be adjustable, and may be programmable as a function of one or both of position and speed. The apparatus may include an array of sensors such as may be used to determine the pre-existing stroke, and such as may be monitored during training to assess progress. The apparatus may be operated passively, or it may be operated interactively in a manner in which real-time feedback causes the apparatus to adjust resistance to the motion.

The relay race gloves are provided to each runner participating in the relay race. That being said, there are a plurality of relay race gloves included, and each relay race glove is able to detect the presence of one another via a contact sensor. The contact sensor is ideally provided on a palm surface of the respective relay race glove such that during a relay race the two runners would simply touch each others hands in a manner consistent with a palm-to-palm clap in order for the contact sensors to detect one another, and initiate an alarm sequence. Each relay race glove includes a processing member that is wired to the contact sensor. The processing member is also wired to a transmitter, a receiver, a powering member, and a speaker.
