Touch sensor unit
The disclosure provides a touch sensor unit. A conductive component is arranged between a pair of electrodes which are arranged inside an insulating tube, and the conductive component includes: a body section, which extends in a longitudinal direction of the insulating tube; and a convex section, which is arranged on an outer circumference of the body section, extends along the longitudinal direction of the body section, and sinks into the pair of electrodes. Short circuit or non-short circuit and so on of the electrodes can be detected by detecting the resistance value of the conductive component. Merely by inserting the conductive component into one end in the longitudinal direction of the electrodes, the pair of electrodes are electrically connected, and only the convex section sinks into the pair of electrodes, therefore the insertion load of the conductive component can be reduced, and the terminal treatment can be simplified.
CLOSING-EDGE SAFETY DEVICE WITH PRECHAMBER
A closing edge safety device that triggers a safety response upon contact with an obstacle. The body of the safety device is an elastically deformable profile element that encloses a switch chamber containing a switching strip that carries an electrical current. A prechamber with a switching nub is placed at the leading edge of the safety device, in front of the switch chamber. When an external force is applied to the leading edge of the safety device, the switching nub transmits the force to the switch chamber, which also deforms, causing an interruption in the electrical current on the switching strip, thereby triggering the desired safety response of the closing edge safety device. The closing edge safety device provides improved response to large-area as well as small-area contact with an obstacle and is also suitable for use as a limit switch.
Reed switch assembly and refrigerator
A reed switch assembly includes a case having a receiving space formed therein, a substrate assembly seated on the case, and a cover for covering at least a portion of the substrate assembly, wherein the substrate assembly includes a printed circuit board, and a connector and a reed sensor that are electrically coupled to the printed circuit board.
Method and apparatus for automatic engagement of arc reduction technology
An automatic actuator assembly including a passive actuator assembly and a detection assembly is operatively coupled to an arc reduction assembly. The passive actuator assembly is coupled to the arc reduction assembly and structured to move the arc reduction assembly between a disengaged, first configuration and an engaged, second configuration.
METHOD OF CONTROLLING AN APPLIANCE DOOR POSITION SWITCH FOR SABBATH MODE OPERATION
A position switch retention device for use with an appliance including a body defining a first end, a cap extending outwardly from a second end of the body opposite the first end, and a first tab extending from a side of the body. The first tab defines a ramp extending away from the body to an edge directed toward and spaced from the cap.

Method of controlling an appliance door position switch for Sabbath mode operation
A position switch retention device for use with an appliance including a body defining a switch-receiving cavity open on at least a first end of the body, a cap extending outwardly from a second end of the body opposite the first end, and a first tab extending from a side of the body. The first tab defines a ramp extending away from the body to an edge directed toward and spaced from the cap.
POWERED VANITY PULLOUT
A powered vanity system with a power outlet positioned on the bottom of a drawer box adjacent a face plate with an optical trigger that prevents the flow of electricity to the power outlet when the drawer box is in a closed position and allows the flow of electricity to the power outlet when the drawer box is in an open position. A cable manager controls the power cord as the drawer box moves between open and closed positions. The drawer box is easily removable from the cabinet carcass and provides for a novel convenience lighting system.
Door monitoring contact switch device
A contact switch including a rail having slot with a first straight section and a second curved section, a toggle unit inside a housing, the toggle unit including an extension unit that slidably engages the slot and at least one contact, a contact unit in the housing including at least one contact, where the toggle unit moves in the housing such that the contacts on the toggle unit engage at least one contact on the stationary unit in the first straight section and the contacts disengage in the second curved section.
