EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device is described which includes a platform having a first end and a second end opposite the first end; first and second wheels, wherein the first wheel is positioned proximate the first end and the second wheel is positioned proximate the second end and the first and second wheels are configured to roll across a surface as the exercise device is displaced along the surface; a first motor configured to apply a first torque to the first wheel where the magnitude of the first torque is related to the distance of the exercise device from a zero position and the direction of the first torque urges movement of the exercise device toward the zero position. Versions are also described with more wheels and more motors.
Abdominal Exercise Roller
An abdominal exercise roller with a powered wheel mechanism to assist the user during the abdominal exercise routine. The invention includes utilizing sensing technology and the electronic module to control the motor and optimize the performance of the abdominal roller during the exercise routine.
Exercise machine with adjustable platforms
An exercise machine with adjustable platforms for adjusting the angular orientation of one or more end platforms and/or carriage platform to allow for a wide range of exercise moves. The exercise machine includes a rail to which a carriage is movably connected and a first end platform connected to an end of the rail. The carriage includes a platform which may be adjusted between a level position in which the platform is laid flat and a raised position in which the platform is at an angular incline. The first end platform may similarly and independently be adjustable between the level position in which the first end platform is laid flat and a raised position in which the first end platform is at an angular incline. In some embodiments, the exercise machine may include a second end platform which is similarly adjustable between a level position and a raised position.
Multiple exercise machine arrangement
An exercise machine has a two-part hexagonal base. A plurality of supports is attached to the two-part hexagonal base, and a pair of intermediary elastics, each arranged by crossing one side extremity of the two-part hexagonal base from a top extremity of the exercise machine to the bottom face of the opposite extremity of the two-part hexagonal base. A top two-part bar is arranged horizontally between tops of the pair of intermediary elastics. A top cylindrical wheel arranged and centered on the top two-part bar, wherein the two-part hexagonal base having a set of cylindrical openings spaced along an entire length of the two-part hexagonal base, two side openings, two rollers, arranged transversally centered in a one of the two side openings, a bottom hollow arranged along the an entire length of the bottom of the two-part hexagonal base, two pairs of straight bottom bars arranged centered and spaced on and along the entire length of the bottom face of the two-part hexagonal base.
End platform for an exercise machine
An end platform for an exercise machine for increased support of an exerciser's spine, neck and head which allows for an expanded scope of exercises that cannot otherwise be performed on the machine without the improved platform. The end platform for an exercise machine generally includes a novel, ergonomically improved stationary platform affixed to at least one opposed end of a substantially longitudinal exercise machine that includes at least a resistance biased reciprocating platform. The improved end platform provides for increased support of exercisers' spine, neck and head, thereby allowing for an expanded scope of exercises that cannot otherwise be performed on the machine without the improved platform, and further provides for the attachment of new and novel exercise equipment accessories to the exercise machine.
Exercise apparatus with a slidable platform for resistance exercises
An exercise including a horizontal rail having a proximal end and a distal end. The rail is supported at a height by two or more vertical supports at the proximal end and distal end. A fixed member is positioned at the proximal end of the rail and have a pair of handles and a pair of arm support, wherein the positions of the pair of handles correspond to the positions of the two arm supports. The exercise apparatus includes a slide member slidably mounted to the rail and slide between the distal end and the fixed member. A user can kneel on the slide member while gripping the two handles and having the arms supported by the two arm supports. Once in position, the user can pull the slider member towards the fixed member against the resistance of a resistance mechanism.
CONDITIONING DEVICE
A multi-layered composite for performing cardiovascular/pulmonary training comprising a first core layer, the upper surface of which is adapted for frictional contact with a body part of a user of the composite and a lower surface affixed to a second layer adapted for frictional contact with a floor of a venue occupied by the user, and a kit and method of performing cardiovascular/pulmonary conditioning.
FITNESS TRAINING UNITS
Provided herein are exemplary embodiments including a fitness training unit that includes a large bench pad, the large bench pad having a proximal end and the large bench pad having a distal end, a small bench pad having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the small bench pad connected to the distal end of the large bench pad, a frame support for the large bench pad and the small bench pad, a distal end of the frame connected between two vertical support bars, wherein an angle formed between the proximal end of the small bench pad and the distal end of the large bench pad is approximately ten degrees.
ALL-IN-ONE WORKOUT SOLUTION
A modular workout solution may include at least one hemisphere constructed and arranged to securely attach to a handle, a cap, an ab roller assembly, or dumbbell or barbell shaft to provide a modular solution adaptable for various exercise or workout programs and routines. The hemisphere may include recesses constructed and arranged for housing modular weights such that the weight of the modular workout solution is customizable. Multiple hemispheres may be combinable to increase weight or construct dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, pylons, ab rollers, or the like.
Exercise machine support system
An exercise machine support system for providing increased versatility including inclination or declination of an exercise surface, a reduction in the overall length and width of the exercise machine, and an enhanced user interface which reduces the risk of injury. The exercise machine support system generally includes a cantilevered exercise machine which is adapted to have a variable angle of incline or decline with respect to a horizontal ground surface. The exercise machine will generally include a base and a support which extends between the base and the exercise machine. The upper end of the support is connected to the exercise machine by a first pivot such that the exercise machine pivots about the support. An adjustment device may be utilized to pivot the exercise machine and thus adjust its angle of incline. Various types of adjustment devices are disclosed, including an actuator, ratchet-and-pawl, gears, and cam.
