FITNESS DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
20220296951 · 2022-09-22 ·

A fitness device comprises a waist belt configured to fit around a user's waist and at least one resilient leg loop member. The resilient leg loop member has a proximal end movably anchored to the waist belt at a posterior position. The resilient leg loop member has an opposite distal end configured for coupling with one of the user's feet. The fitness device causes a predetermined resistance force to be generated against the user's movement when the user extends the leg loop member beyond its length at rest. In some embodiments, two resilient leg loop members are provided. Methods of using the exercise device are also described.

MULTI-DIRECTIONAL WORKOUT WHEEL DEVICE

A workout device includes a base frame, a top cover and a gliding mechanism. The base frame includes a chassis and through holes formed in the chassis. The top cover includes dome structures aligned with the through holes, respectively, when the top cover is assembled to the base frame. The gliding mechanism consists of multi-directional rotating members accommodated in the dome structures and partially protruding from the through holes, respectively, when the top cover is assembled to the base frame. In response to a pressing force exerted onto the cover body, the dome structures are in contact with the multi-directional rotating members so as to cause friction therebetween, and the friction changes with the force exerted onto the cover body.

Exercise Machine Reversible Resistance System

An exercise machine reversible resistance system for reversing the directional force of resistance against an exercise implement before, during, or after the performance of a routine of one or more exercises. The exercise machine reversible resistance system generally includes a frame, an elongated member movably positioned upon the frame, wherein the elongated member has a first run and a second run, a resistance device that applies a resistance force to the elongated member in a single direction, an exercise implement movably connected to the frame and a clutch connected to the exercise implement. The clutch is adapted to selectively engage the first run or the second run of the elongated member for selective control of the resistance direction of the exercise implement.

Exercise machine rail system

An exercise machine rail system for improved exerciser mounting and dismounting, improved functional ergonomics, and reduced risk of exerciser injury when using an exercise machine. The exercise machine rail system generally includes either two rails in close relationship which are linked together via connectors or a singular rail. Bias members are disclosed as either extending along either outer side of the rails, internally to the rail, or underneath the rail. Due to the narrow nature of the rails used by the present invention, an exerciser is able to mount and dismount the exercise machine easily and efficiently.

Exercise machine support system

An exercise machine support system for providing increased versatility including inclination or declination of an exercise surface, a reduction in the overall length and width of the exercise machine, and an enhanced user interface which reduces the risk of injury. The exercise machine support system generally includes a cantilevered exercise machine which is adapted to have a variable angle of incline or decline with respect to a horizontal ground surface. The exercise machine will generally include a base and a support which extends between the base and the exercise machine. The upper end of the support is connected to the exercise machine by a first pivot such that the exercise machine pivots about the support. An adjustment device may be utilized to pivot the exercise machine and thus adjust its angle of incline. Various types of adjustment devices are disclosed, including an actuator, ratchet-and-pawl, gears, and cam.

EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD

An exercise system includes a frame, an upper body carriage, a lower body carriage, a positioning carriage, a resistance assembly attached to the frame, and a connecting mechanism. The frame includes a right guide rail, a left guide rail, and a central guide rail disposed between the right guide rail and the left guide rail. The upper body carriage includes an upper right and an upper left carriage slidingly attached to the right and left guide rail, respectively. The lower body carriage includes a lower right and lower left carriage slidingly attached to the right and left guide rail, respectively. The connecting mechanism mechanically couples one of the upper body carriage, the lower body carriage, or the carriage to the resistance assembly such that the resistance assembly applies a predetermined level of resistive force to the upper body carriage, the lower body carriage, and/or the tension carriage.

Exercise machine accessory system

An exercise machine accessory system for facilitating exerciser rehydration during a workout and antibacterial machine wipe down. The exercise machine accessory system generally includes an exercise machine having a first end and a second end, first and second stationary exercise platforms, a movable carriage movably positioned upon a rail, a biasing member connected to the movable carriage, first and second handle assemblies connected to the frame of the exercise machine, a first bottle holder, a first antibacterial wipes dispenser and/or a first disposal receptacle connected to the first right handle assembly or the first left handle assembly.

End platform for an exercise machine

An End Platform for an Exercise Machine for increased support of an exerciser's spine, neck and head which allows for an expanded scope of exercises that cannot otherwise be performed on the machine without the improved platform. The End Platform for an Exercise Machine generally includes a novel, ergonomically improved stationary platform affixed to at least one opposed end of a substantially longitudinal exercise machine that includes at least a resistance biased reciprocating platform. The improved end platform provides for increased support of exercisers' spine, neck and head, thereby allowing for an expanded scope of exercises that cannot otherwise be performed on the machine without the improved platform, and further provides for the attachment of new and novel exercise equipment accessories to the exercise machine.
