On-load tap changer

The invention relates to an on-load tap-changer (1) having a switching tube (15), an energy accumulator (13) for adjusting a switch position of the switching tube (15), a detector (200) for detecting a switch position of the on-load tap-changer (1), and an on-load tap-changer mechanism (100). The switching tube (15) and the detector (200) are both mechanically coupled to the energy accumulator (13) via the on-load tap-changer mechanism (100).

Switching module controller for a voltage regulator

A voltage regulator comprising a tap selector switch, a switching module and a switching module controller. The tap selector can comprise stationary contacts and movable contacts which can be adjusted for regulating the voltage between a source and a load. The switching module can comprise first and second bypass switches controlled by a bypass actuator and a non-arcing switch, such as a vacuum interrupter, controlled by an interrupter actuator. The switching module controller can be configured to perform a tap change operation through a series of steps that involve actuating a bypass switch and the non-arcing switch. In one example, the switching module controller can wait a predetermined amount of time before proceeding with each step of the tap change operation. In other examples, the switching module controller can receive signals or measurements from the system before proceeding with each step of the tap change operation.

The present invention relates to a motor drive having a position indicator for actuation of an on-load tap changer or diverter. The invention proposes a motor drive for actuating an on-load tap changer or diverter. This diverter has a drive motor which drives at least one load gear and an indicator gear, wherein the load gear has a first drive shaft, having a first drive pulley which is mechanically connected thereto and is connected to the drive motor, and a second drive shaft having a second drive pulley which is connected thereto. The first and second drive pulleys are mechanically coupled, wherein the second drive shaft itself is operatively connected on the first side thereof to the on-load tap changer or the diverter and can be connected by the second side thereof to the indicator gear. The indicator gear co-operates with a position indicator, by means of which the currently activated position of the on-load tap changer or diverter can be displayed, and wherein a switchable coupling device can be provided between the position indicator and the load gear.

A position indicator for a tap changer of a tapped transformer comprises a display device (51) for displaying the current switch position of the tap changer, which display device (51) is stepped with each switchover and which comprises first and second display disks (21, 26); an indicator gear (10) that is coupled to the two display disks (21, 26) for driving them in a switch-direction-dependent manner and which can be coupled to a switching shaft of the tap changer; wherein each display disk (21, 26) comprises sets of numbers in an angularly extending or circular row; with each step one number of the row of numbers on the first display disk (21) and one number of the row of numbers on the second display disk (26) are positioned side by side such that these numbers represent the current switch position of the tap changer expressed as digits combined to form a multi-digit number.

Switch device

A switch device includes an operation unit to receive an operation performed by a user, a movable contact that is connected to a ground circuit and moves according to an operation performed on the operation unit, plural fixed contacts whose state of connection to the movable contact is switched according to an operation position of the operation unit, plural resistors connected in series in such a manner that one end is connected to a power supply, another end is connected to one of the plural fixed contacts, and a node formed by connecting in series is connected to the remaining of the plural fixed contacts, and a control unit that includes an input terminal connected to a first node between the fixed contact connected closest to the power supply and the resistor and determines the operation position of the operation unit based on voltage detected through the input terminal.
