Power cable assembly having a circuit protection device

A power cable assembly includes a power cable extending between a first end and a second end having a hot conductor and a neutral conductor. The power cable assembly includes a circuit protection device along the power cable between the first and second ends. The circuit protection device has a ground fault circuit interrupt (GFCI) device configured to sense a current difference on the hot and neutral conductors to initiate a triggering event. The circuit protection device has a high-power relay device connected to the GFCI device. The high-power relay device is connected to the hot conductor and is configured to open the hot line when the triggering event is initiated by the GFCI device.

MECHATRONIC CONTROL DEVICE

An electronic electrical device, comprising a first electrical conductor for the input of electric current; a second electrical conductor for the output of electric current; a first electrical control device adapted to have two positions to electrically connect and disconnect the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor to/from each other; a second electrical control device adapted to have two positions to electrically connect and disconnect the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor to/from each other; first actuation means comprising a digital electronic controller; second actuation means comprising only mechanical and/or electromechanical components; wherein the first actuation means are adapted to vary the position of said first electrical control device independently of said second actuation means; and wherein the second actuation means are adapted to vary the position of said second electrical control device independently of said first actuation means.

Pilot operable runway light control

A runway light control including a relay switch for connecting to a common conductor and a push-to-talk conductor of the aircraft communications system. The control includes a microcontroller connected to the relay switch and an intensity selector assembly connected to the microcontroller. The selector assembly has first, second, and third intensity selectors. The microcontroller is programmed to intermittently close the relay switch a first preselected number of times when the first intensity selector is actuated to signal the automated variable intensity runway light control station to select a first runway light intensity at the airport. The microcontroller is programmed to close the relay switch a second number of times when the second selector is actuated to select a second runway light intensity. The microcontroller is programmed to close the relay switch a third number of times when the third selector is actuated to select a third runway light intensity.

An earphone device includes first and second earphone bodies into which respective electro-acoustic transducers are built; first and second cables, one end of each of which is connected to the respective earphone body and within each of which a switch member to be turned on by one-way press is disposed over a predetermined range along the length direction of the cable so that the cable has switch functions; wherein a switch is shunted into two switches by the first and second cables, portions of the first and second cables having switch functions are arranged one on top of the other, and an overlapped portion is unidirectionally pressed to simultaneously turn on the respective switches. In addition, a sound-reproducing system is configured by combining a mobile terminal which operates in conjunction with this earphone device.

REMOTE CONTROLLED EXTENSION CORD WITH EMBEDDED HOUSING FOR A REMOTE CONTROL
20180097317 · 2018-04-05 ·

A remote controlled extension cord. The extension cord has a wire attached to a plug with an integrated base. The base serves to cradle a remote control, which is used to turn power on/off to the extensions on the cord. The extension cord has a number of advanced operations, for example a sequential flash operation which cycles power between all of the individual sockets in the extension cord in sequence, and then repeats the sequence. This can all be controlled by the remote control.
