Locking arrangement for a plurality of toggle switches
A locking arrangement for a plurality of toggle switches is provided, which facilitates independent locking and independent actuation of the toggle switches. The locking arrangement restricts the movement of a lever associated with a toggle switch of the plurality of toggle switches so as to maintain the lever of the toggle switch in at least one predetermined position. The locking arrangement is adapted to receive a locking device that restricts the movement of the lever in at least one predetermined position defined by the periphery of a locking plate or a base plate of the locking arrangement.
LINKAGE FOR FUSE SWITCH
A rotatable switching member comprises a support bracket having a first arm, a second arm, and a middle portion, and a switch flange. The rotatable switching member further comprises a switch bracket connected to the middle portion of the support bracket having an attachment portion and an engagement portion. A handle is fixed to the first arm of the support bracket to rotate the rotatable switching member.
LOCKOUT SYSTEM FOR ENERGY SOURCES
A lockout system includes a hasp assembly and a plurality of tags. The hasp assembly has a back plate defining slots each sized and shaped to receive a tag. The back plate and tags each have openings that align when a tag is received in a slot. A first hasp portion on the back plate defines part of a closed loop. A longitudinal locking bar is slidable along the back plate and has notches shaped to receive ends of the tags. Moving the locking bar between an unlocked position and a locked position operates the second hasp portion between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the first and second hasp portions complete and define the closed loop, where one or more tags can be installed in slots with the first end of the tag engaging a notch to lock closed the hasp portion.
Generator coupling kit and methods thereof
A generator coupling kit is provided. In exemplary embodiments, the generator coupling kit may comprise a wire adapted to couple with a generator on a first end, the wire adapted to couple with an indoor electrical panel via a generator breaker; and the generator breaker adapted to couple with indoor electrical panel, the generator breaker comprising a circuit breaker.
CAM SELECTOR FOR AN EARTHING SWITCH
An operating modes selector is for an earthing switch that includes power contacts and a motor for moving the power contacts. The selector includes a plurality of positions corresponding respectively to various operating modes of the earthing switch, and includes cams whose positions are defined by the selector position. The selector contains a first cam which pulls a first locking organ designed to mechanically block the motor of the earthing switch when the selector is in a position corresponding to a locked closed mode wherein the earthing switch is closed.
Lockout-tagout systems and methods
A transfer switch including a lockout-tagout assembly and lockout-tagout method are provided. An example method includes a latch of a transfer switch actuating a first switch, wherein actuating the first switch sends an inhibit signal to an electronic controller of the transfer switch. The example method further includes the latch actuating a second switch, wherein actuating the second switch opens operator cutoff thereby preventing function of an operator assembly of the transfer switch. Still further, the example method includes, after the latch actuating the first switch and the second switch, locking the latch so as to mechanically prevent the source contact from closing.
DEVICE FOR LOCKING AN ASSEMBLY, AND SYSTEM FOR LOCKING DIFFERENT ASSEMBLIES
A device for locking an assembly includes an actuator having a first shape and a second shape, and a locking element. When the actuator has its first shape it moves the locking element into a blocking position in order to block the assembly, and when the actuator has its second shape, it moves the locking element into a release position in order to release the assembly. A system for locking different assemblies is also provided.
Hazardous location compliant circuit protection devices, systems and methods with safety lockout/tagout components
In one embodiment, a method includes, by a switch device, determining a position of an on/off input selector, the on/off input selector being located within a switch device, in response to determining the position of the on/off input selector is in an off position, operating one or more solid state switches to suspend current to one or more load-side terminals, determining whether the one or more load-side terminals of the switch device are electrically isolated, in response to determining the one or more load-side terminals of the switch device are electrically isolated, generating a prompt via a graphical user interface, and receiving, via the graphical user interface, one or more inputs, the one or more inputs including at least a request for safety lockout instructions.
ELECTRONIC SWITCHING DEVICE
An electronic switching device includes a housing with at least one housing door, a lockable rotary handle rotatable at least between an ON position and an OFF position, a handle locking device for locking the rotary handle at least in the OFF position when engaged, and a POFF device for preventing the rotary handle to be rotated and/or fixed in OFF position when activated. The electronic switching device further includes a locking coulisse, movably arranged at the electronic switching device and arrangeable in at least a first position, a second position and a third positions with respect to the housing of the electronic switching device. The locking coulisse is configured for allowing an engagement of the handle locking device and the POFF device in the first position, locking the housing door in the second position and blocking the activation of the handle locking device in the third position.
