Breaking device
A breaking device for interrupting current, the breaking device including an electrically conducting outer member; an electrically conducting inner member arranged radially inside the outer member with respect to a breaking axis; and an electrically insulating or semiconducting breaking tube arranged radially between the outer member and the inner member with respect to the breaking axis, the breaking tube being arranged to move along the breaking axis from a starting position to a protruding position in which the breaking tube protrudes from a space within the outer member for interrupting a current between the outer member and the inner member by means of the breaking tube.
SWITCHING DEVICE FOR FAST DISCONNECTION OF SHORT-CIRCUIT CURRENTS
A switching device for fast disconnection of short-circuit currents is provided. The switching device comprises a switching bridge with a movable contacting element and a fixed contacting element. The switching bridge being operable in a closed state, in which the movable contacting element is in contact with the fixed contacting element, and an open state, in which the movable contacting element is spaced apart from the fixed contacting element. The switching device further comprises an electromagnetic switching drive with a coil for generating a magnetic field and a magnet anchor, a guide sleeve to guide the movement of the magnet anchor in the magnetic field of the coil, a pyrotechnic propellant charge located in the cavity, and a supporting device for supporting the guide sleeve. The magnet anchor is arranged within the guide sleeve such that a cavity is formed below the magnet anchor.
SWITCHING DEVICE WITH EFFECTIVE COOLING OF OUTFLOWING GASES
A switching device with effective cooling of outflowing gases includes: an arc extinguishing chamber; an orifice for outflow of the gases from the arc extinguishing chamber; and a multilayer wire cloth or fabric having at least a first wire layer and a second wire layer. The first wire layer and the second wire layer have a respective cloth or fabric structure including respective warp yarns and weft yarns. The first and second wire layers are disposed in a stacked configuration in the orifice such that a weaving direction of the warp yarns of the first wire layer is rotated by an angle in relation to a weaving direction of the warp yarns of the second wire layer, and a weaving direction of the weft yarns of the first wire layer is rotated by an angle in relation to a weaving direction of the weft yarns of the second wire layer.
SWITCHGEAR HAVING A MOUNTING BASE WITH AN INTERNAL ARC PATHWAY
A mounting base or a riser base for a switchgear is provided with side interior openings to provide an internal arc pathway through which arc gasses or plasma are safely discharged to an outside air. The mounting base includes a front wall having a first end and a second end, a rear wall having a first end and a second end, a first side channel connecting the first end of the front wall to the first end of the rear wall, a second side channel connecting the second end of the front wall to the second end of the rear wall, and forming the mounting base having a central open area in a first section of a switchgear that is adjacent a second section of the switchgear. The mounting base further includes at least one opening in the first side channel for the passage of an arc from the first section of the switchgear to the second section of the switchgear, and thereby forming the mounting base with the internal arc pathway.
Switching device
A device has a movable contact, a stationary contact and an arc quenching unit, the arc quenching unit has a plurality of arc quenching plates and an electrically isolative housing, each one of the plurality of arc quenching plates has a mounting portion and a receiving portion, the receiving portion has a distributing part, the distributing part has a through hole penetrating through the receiving portion and an inclined plane protruding from the receiving portion, the inclined plane is arranged to a side of the through hole away from an arc entrance and extending to the arc entrance, an angle between the inclined plane and the receiving portion is an acute angle, a root of the inclined plane is continuous with the receiving portion. An inclined plane of a first arc quenching plate is interlacing and opposite with an inclined plane of a second arc quenching plate.
Breaking device
A breaking device for interrupting current includes an electrically conducting outer member, an electrically conducting inner member arranged radially inside the outer member with respect to a breaking axis and an electrically insulating or semiconducting breaking member arranged radially between the outer member and the inner member with respect to the breaking axis, where the breaking member is arranged to move along the breaking axis from a starting position to a protruding position in which the breaking member protrudes from a space within the outer member for interrupting a current between the outer member and the inner member and the breaking member includes an inner tubular element and an outer tubular element, where the outer tubular element is joined to an outer surface of the inner tubular element thereby defining a recess between the outer tubular element and the inner tubular element.
ARC EXTINUISHING ASSEMBLY AND CIRCUIT BREAKER COMPRISING SAME
The present disclosure relates to an arc extinguishing assembly, including side members which are spaced apart by a certain distance and disposed to face each other; an exhaust which is installed on an upper part of the side member; a plurality of grids which are installed between the side members and having both ends fixed to each of the side members; an arc guide having one end coupled to the side member and installed under the plurality of grids; and a magnet which is installed such that both ends are respectively coupled to the side members under the plurality of grids, and forms an electromagnetic force in a direction toward the grid, and a circuit breaker including the same.
Electric switch
An electric switch including a frame, a first stationary contact, a roll element adapted to rotate relative to the frame, a rotating contact stationary fixed to the roll element, and an arc extinguisher plate system. The arc extinguisher plate system includes at least one first arc extinguisher plate for extinguishing an electric arc generated during an opening event between the first stationary contact and a first contact portion of the rotating contact. The at least one first arc extinguisher plate is fixed to the roll element.
Low-voltage circuit breaker
A low-voltage circuit breaker comprising one or more electrical poles, each of said poles having an internal space with a contact area and an arc extinguishing area, a fixed contact assembly and a movable contact assembly being positioned in said contact area, said movable contact assembly being movable between a closed position in which it is into contact with said fixed contact assembly and an open position in which it is spaced apart from said fixed contact assembly, an arc chamber comprising a plurality of substantially parallel arc-breaking plates made of a ferromagnetic material being positioned in said arc extinguishing area. The low-voltage circuit breaker is characterized in that said arc chamber further comprises at least one arc-breaking plate which is at least partially made of a ceramic material.
ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY
An electromagnetic relay includes a case including a base, a first fixed terminal held by the base, a movable contact piece, a gas inflow space, and a gas passage. The first fixed terminal includes a first fixed contact disposed apart from the base in a first direction inside the case, a contact support portion disposed between the first fixed contact and the base and configured to support the first fixed contact, and a first extending portion extending at an angle from the contact support portion and penetrating the base in the first direction. The movable contact piece includes a first movable contact facing the first fixed contact in the first direction. The gas inflow space is formed between the base and the contact support portion inside the case. The gas passage penetrates the base in the first direction and communicates the gas inflow space with an outside of the case.
