ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY

A displaceable portion of a moving contactor is connected to, and electrically conductive with, a pair of moving contacts. An armature actuates the moving contactor. The armature has an adhering portion to be adhered onto an electromagnet. A space inside an opening that exposes a part (an exposed part) of the displaceable portion crosses a predetermined plane. The predetermined plane intersects at right angles with an arrangement direction (a first direction) in which the pair of moving contacts is arranged side by side. The predetermined plane passes through a center between both ends in the arrangement direction of the adhering portion.

Electrical switch

An electrical switch. The electrical switch includes at least one fixed contact and a movable contact contacting the fixed contact. At least one shutter element is arranged to move in synchronism with the movable contact. The shutter element is positioned in an extended position between the fixed contact and the movable contact and in a contracted position outside the patch of the movable contact allowing the movable contact to turn from the open position to the closed position.

RELAY

A relay includes: a housing, a base plate, and a driving device, connected to the base. At least one stationary contact group is provided on the housing. The stationary contact group includes two stationary contacts insulated from each other. At least one stationary contact in the stationary contact group includes an upper terminal and a lower contact are included. The upper terminal and the lower contact are isolated from each other and electrically connected by a fuse. The base plate is provided in the housing and can switch between on and off positions. The base plate, when being in the on position, contacts the stationary contact group for the electrical conduction of the two stationary contacts in the stationary contact group, and, when being in the off position, is isolated from the stationary contact group for disconnecting the electrical conduction of the two stationary contacts in the stationary contact group.

Electrical Contactor System

An electrical contactor system includes a stationary contactor having a stationary contact, a moving contactor having a moving contact, a rotating member, a magnetic blow-out arc quenching device including a permanent magnet, and an isolation arc quenching device. The moving contactor is mounted on the rotating member and is rotatable between a connected position and a disconnected position. The moving contact is in electrical contact with the stationary contact when the moving contactor is rotated to the connected position, the moving contact is separated from the stationary contact when the moving contactor is rotated to the disconnected position. The permanent magnet is statically disposed in a vicinity of the stationary contactor for elongating an arc between the stationary contact and the moving contact by an electromagnetic force so as to extinguish the arc. The isolation arc quenching device pushes the arc toward the permanent magnet so as to force the arc to move to a vicinity of the permanent magnet.
