Treadmill configured to automatically determine user exercise movement
Treadmill configured to automatically determine user exercise movement. In some embodiments, a treadmill may include a deck, a first pulley disposed in the deck, a second pulley disposed in the deck, a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley, an electronic sensor incorporated into the treadmill and configured to automatically produce measurement data in response to exercise movement performed by a user over the deck, an electronic console including an electronic display, a processor, and a memory. The memory may include programmed instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to automatically analyze the measurement data produced by the electronic sensor to automatically determine a characteristic of the exercise movement performed by the user over the deck, and automatically present, on the electronic display, an indication of the characteristic of the exercise movement performed by the user over the deck.
Treadmill with Removable Supports
A treadmill includes a platform where the platform includes a first side panel and a second side panel spaced apart at a distance from the first side panel, and a gap defined between the first side panel and the second side panel. The treadmill also includes a running deck contained within the platform and exposed within the gap, a first pulley connected to the running deck, a second pulley connected to the running deck opposite the first pulley, a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley, a first post removably connected to the platform, a second post removably connected to the platform, and a first rail transversely connected to the first post and the second post.
COLLABORATIVE EXERCISE
Load data is received from a first exercise machine. An updated resistance for a second exercise machine is determined based on the load data received from the first exercise machine. A request to update a resistance associated with the second exercise machine is provided to the second exercise machine. The second exercise machine updates the resistance associated with the second exercise machine based on the request.
TREADMILL
The present invention provides means capable of detecting a force acting on an upper part of an endless belt of the treadmill from a subject on the upper part of the belt even in a treadmill in which the height of a lower space below the upper part of the endless belt is limited. A treadmill comprises an endless belt 6 entrained about a front roller 4 and a rear roller 5 and a support plate 3 provided below an upper part 60 of the endless belt 6 and on which the upper part 60 of the endless belt 6 runs. The support plate 3 comprises a plurality of piezoelectric elements P inside the support plate 3 and/or on a surface of the support plate 3 so as to detect a force acting on the support plate 3 from the upper part 60 of the endless belt 6.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EVALUATION, DETECTION, CONDITIONING, AND TREATMENT OF NEUROLOGICAL FUNCTIONING AND CONDITIONS
A system and method for evaluation, detection, conditioning, and treatment of neurological functioning and conditions which uses data obtained while a person is engaged in simultaneously in a range of primary physical tasks combined with defined types of secondary activity, such as listening, reading, speaking, mathematics, logic puzzles, navigation of a virtual environment, recall of past stimuli, etc. The data from the physical and secondary activities are combined to generate a composite functioning score visualization indicating the relative functioning of areas aspects of neurological functioning; including those in which deficiencies may be present, which are early indicators of possible neurological conditions. Through algorithmic recommendations combined with expert and user input, a conditioning regimen targeting neurological aspects of interest paired with periodic testing allows the user to track their progress in these areas over time.
Systems and methods to enable communication detection between devices and performance of a preventative action
A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes determining whether one or more messages have been received from at least one of an electromechanical machine, a sensor, and an interface. Then the one or more messages may pertain to at least one of a user and a usage of the electromechanical machine by the user. The electromechanical machine may be configured to be manipulated by the user while the user is performing a treatment plan. The method also includes, responsive to determining that the one or more messages have not been received, determining, using one or more machine learning models, one or more preventative actions to perform. The method also includes causing the one or more preventative actions to be performed.
System for unweighting a user and related methods of exercise
The invention comprises a differential air pressure exercise system, comprising: a base; a pair of uprights on the base dividing the base into a front portion and a rear portion; a bulkhead extending between and vertically moveable relative to the uprights; a right arm and a left arm attached to the bulkhead extending from the bulkhead towards the base rear portion; a chamber support frame coupling element on the right arm and on the left arm; a hinge coupled to the bulkhead between the left and right arms; a chamber support frame extending between the left and right arms and coupled to the hinge to move between an engaged condition and a lowered condition.
Ball collecting and discharging machine
A main body of a ball collecting and discharging machine includes a traveling portion and a ball collecting and discharging portion to collect and discharge balls. A controller causes the ball collecting and discharging portion to collect the balls scattered in a ball scattered area while causing the traveling portion to cause the main body to travel along a ball collecting route in the ball scattered area. When the ball collecting and discharging portion reaches a state of being ready to discharge balls during or after ball collecting work, the controller causes the traveling portion to cause the main body to travel along the ball discharging route and causes the ball collecting and discharging portion to discharge balls at the ball discharging site.
WEIGHT MACHINE SENSOR SYSTEM
A load sensor includes a bolt configured to support a pulley of a weight machine, and a strain gauge laminated onto an exterior surface of a shoulder section of the bolt.
SELECTION OF A SPORTS CLUB, RACKET OR BAT USING GROUND PRESSURE FORCES APPLIED BY THE PLAYER IN A STROKE
A method for selecting a most suitable golf club from a set, where the shafts of the set are of different levels of flexibility along the shaft, includes using a pressure sensing mat upon which the player places both feet while carrying out a sample swing to measure forces applied by feet of the player during the stroke. The pressure sensing mat provides output signals indicative of vertical forces, lateral forces, both heel to toe and side to side, lateral speed, both heel to toe and side to side applied by the feet of the player during the swing and a processor operating on the signals selects certain ones of the output signals to calculate a load factor from the selected signals which is used to select one of the set most suitable for use by the player using a color coding system applied to the load factor.
