There is provided a limb exercise device comprising: a force sensor configured to determine a weight applied to the device; a sliding component configured to facilitate the sliding movement of the device along a separate surface, wherein the separate surface is a surface that is separate to the device, wherein the sliding component comprises a part of an external housing of the device; a device movement sensor configured to determine a movement of the device on the separate surface; a limb position sensor configured to determine a position, in at least one dimension, of a limb of a user positioned above or adjacent to the device; and an output device configured to output an indication in dependence on a signal from at least one of: the force sensor, the device movement sensor and the limb position sensor.

The system sets a stable range. The stable range is a range of the load's center. The training person is estimated to maintain upright on the boarding surface in the range. The system controls movement of the moving carriage in a mode selected between a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the driving unit drives under drive control predicting that the calculated load's center shifts within a first range set inside the stable range. In in the second mode, the driving unit drives under drive control predicting that the calculated load's center shifts to a second range set outside the first range inside the stable range.

Methods, systems, and computer-readable mediums for generating, by an artificial intelligence engine, an alignment plan capable of enabling, during a treatment session, the aligning of a user's body. The method comprises generating machine learning models trained to identify alignment plans. The method also comprises receiving treatment data that comprises a first position of the user's body, aspects of a treatment plan, and one or more attributes of the user. The method further comprises generating the alignment plan by using the machine learning models. The generating is based on at least the aspects of the treatment plan and at least one of the one or more attributes of the user. The alignment plan may comprise a target position of the user's body and one or more elements for adjusting the user's body from the first position to the target position. The method also comprises transmitting the plan to a computing device.

Disclosed herein are devices, systems and methods for redistributing the normal weight distribution of a user in a standing position. One example is a postural platform for either the left or right foot having a bottom surface defining a reference plane, a top surface configured as a foot contact surface and a perimeter side wall between the bottom and top surfaces. The top surface is rotated about a first rotational axis parallel to the reference plane and rotated about a second rotational axis orthogonal to the reference plane. In another example, a system includes first and second postural platforms that are independent of one another. In other examples, the device is a sandal, shoe, sneaker or any foot covering with a tops surface being at a complex angle to a bottom surface.

A system for monitoring the symmetry of a lifting stance, the system including: a platform for supporting a weightlifter during a lift, the platform including support plates which include load sensors; a processor in data communication with the one or more load sensors for receiving and processing weightlifter load data, the processor configured to assess weightlifter symmetry data against a symmetry threshold to provide a symmetry result; and an output module for informing the weightlifter of the symmetry result. Also described is a method for monitoring the symmetry of a lifting stance, including the steps of: receiving data from one or more load sensors on one or more support plates on a weightlifting platform to process weightlifter load data; processing weightlifter load data to provide weightlifter symmetry data; assessing weightlifter symmetry data against a symmetry threshold to provide symmetry result data; and displaying the symmetry result data.

A walking training system according to the present embodiment includes: a treadmill; a load distribution sensor that is provided on a lower side of a belt of the treadmill so as not to move together with the belt and that detects a distribution of a load received from a sole of a trainee riding on the belt of the treadmill; an extraction unit that extracts a load distribution in a region corresponding to a position of the sole of the trainee during walking training, out of a load distribution detected by the load distribution sensor; and a determination unit that determines a walking state of the trainee based on the load distribution extracted by the extraction unit.
