PRESSING OPERATION BODY AND SWITCH DEVICE
A pressing operation body includes an inversion spring having a dome shape; and a rubber stem configured to bend in response to pressing and press the inversion spring. The inversion spring includes a dome portion, and a plurality of leg portions that are extended outward from an outer peripheral edge of the dome portion. The rubber stem includes a base portion configured to support a lower edge of the rubber stem. The base portion includes a plurality of retaining portions configured to retain the plurality of leg portions of the inversion spring.
Push switch
A push switch contains a circuit substrate, two fixed contacts disposed on the circuit substrate, a dome-shaped spring which is disposed above the two fixed contacts and can be displaced between a first position in which the two fixed contacts are in a non-conductive state and a second position in which the two fixed contacts are in a conductive state and a conductive elastic member disposed on a surface of the dome-shaped spring facing the circuit substrate and having a surface facing the two fixed contacts. At least the surface of the conductive elastic member facing the two fixed contacts has conductivity. When the dome-shaped spring is displaced to the second position, the two fixed contacts are in the conductive state through the conductive elastic member.

Input Apparatus And Input Determination Method
An input apparatus includes an operating portion configured to be subjected to a pressing operation by an operator, an operation detection sensor whose output value is varied by the pressing operation on the operating portion, a processor configured to determine whether the pressing operation has been performed based on the output value of the operation detection sensor, and a feel generator configured to generate an operation feel in a pressing direction to the operator in response to the pressing operation on the operating portion, wherein, in response to the operation detection sensor outputting an output value corresponding to feel characteristics representing the characteristics of the pressing force, generated by the feel generator, with respect to an elapsed time during the pressing operation, the processor determines that the pressing operation has been completed.
Autoclavable keypad with haptic feedback for video endoscopes
A keypad includes a support, a snap disk on a first side of the support transformable from a released state to a loaded state, a cover forming a seal over the first side, a pocket in the cover, a magnet and a plunger disposed in the pocket, the plunger adapted to engage and transform the snap disk to the loaded state, a magnetic field sensor on a second side of the support, the second side opposite the first side and logic circuitry adapted to obtain a value of a strength of a magnetic field from the sensor, compare the value against a predetermined threshold value that corresponds at least approximately to the strength of a magnetic field, and when the plunger has transformed the snap disk to the loaded state and the value reaches or exceeds the threshold value, output a signal indicating that a key press occurred.
Waterproof board switch and method of manufacturing waterproof board switch
A waterproof board switch includes a print circuit board, a bottom coverlay, an insulation adhesive film having a dome hole and being thermo-compression bonded to the front surface of the print circuit board, a metal dome inserted into the dome hole, and a top coverlay coupled to the insulation adhesive film and the print circuit board to cover the dome hole and surround sides of the insulation adhesive film and sides of the print circuit board. The top coverlay is thermo-compression bonded to the top of the insulation adhesive film, the sides of the insulation adhesive film, and the sides of the print circuit board by thermo-compression bonding to seal a space on which the metal dome rests, thereby preventing an introduction of contaminant into the metal dome and the print circuit board.

Key switch and keyboard
A key switch includes a movable part configured to be moved by a pressing operation, a support mechanism that movably supports the movable part, an electrical connector including multiple pairs of contacts of upper electrodes and lower electrodes, and a disc spring that is disposed between the movable part and the electrical connector and configured to be elastically deformed by movement of the movable part and to press the electrical connector. The multiple pairs of contacts are provided for one movable part. When the disc spring is deformed by the movement of the movable part, the disc spring is configured to simultaneously press the multiple pairs of contacts provided for the corresponding movable part.

Pushbutton switch member
A pushbutton switch member has a dome-shaped movable contact and an operation key facing and separated from a movable contact. Pushing the operation key toward the movable contact causes the movable contact to electrically connect at least two contacts on a substrate. The operation key is provided with: a key; a dome connected with an outer periphery of the key, and deformable by pushing of the key toward the substrate; and a foot connected with an outer periphery of the dome, and fixed on the substrate. The movable contact is provided with: an upper contact spaced apart from a site directly below the key, and which makes contact with a contact when the key is pushed in; and an outer fixing part disposed at the upper contact, or further outside thereof in the radial direction, and fixed outside of the key in the radial direction.
