A power tool includes a motor, a trigger, a pressure sensing unit, and a control circuit. The motor is configured to receive electric power from a battery to rotate a socket. The trigger is movably held by a tool body. The pressure sensing unit includes a pressure receiving unit for receiving pressure according to a pull-in amount of the trigger and is configured to measure a magnitude of the pressure received with the pressure receiving unit. The control circuit is configured to control a rotational speed of the motor based on measured pressure measured by the pressure sensing unit. The control circuit is configured to perform hysteresis control of the rotational speed of the motor such that the rotational speed of the motor with respect to the measured pressure differs between a case where the measured pressure increases with time and a case where the measured pressure decreases with time.

PUSH SWITCH

A holding plate is positioned on an opposite side of a contact member to a surface of a base in an operation direction. When no external force acts on a movable joint, the holding plate places, with the contact member in-between, a load on a movable member in a direction in which a first movable contact and a second movable contact are pressed, respectively, against a first fixture contact and a second fixture contact. The contact member is disposed between the holding plate and a member in the operation direction.

PUSH SWITCH

A member has a first recess, a second recess, and a depression. The depression accommodates a movable member and a contact member. Positioned on a bottom surface of the first recess is a first fixture contact, whereas positioned on a bottom surface of the second recess is a second fixture contact. When a pressure receiving section of the movable member is pressed toward a bottom surface of the depression, the movable member is elastically deformed to separate a movable joint from the contact member. When the pressure receiving section is further pressed toward the bottom surface of the depression, the movable member is elastically deformed to separate the first movable contact from the first fixture contact and to separate the second movable contact from the second fixture contact.
